Well, there's not much to chose from in Brookville, PA, and this Owner knows it. Walk-up price is higher than 3rd Party (i.e. Trip Advisor, Hotels.com, Priceline, etc.) so book the room in advance......even from the parking lot if you have to. They smoke a lot in that part of the Country, so check the room first before you lock... More

I stayed here only because it was very close to where I was, working for the 2 days I was there. The hotel looks very dated on the outside. The concrete is very bad going into the side door. The clerk who checked me in asked the person gave the person in front of me the Internet information but never asked... More

...if you can find a parking space. No parking, terrible grounds, terrible frozen food at breakfast, among the WORST low-pressure/ oscillating-between-hot-and-cold showers of my life. House keeping tried to get into our room despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign. Wifi access was spotty at best. Front desk staff was nice enough. Go elsewhere. Anywhere. Your car is a superior option.

This place has been around for a long time. It keeps switching hotel identifiers, I.e., Howard Johnson, holiday inn express, others. The building needs to be demolished! Grounds dirty, rusty, peeling paint. Rooms only slightly better ... Mold, rust, ancient equipment and threadbare bedding. Don't walk around without shoes or slippers. Drive to Clarion or DuBois. Even if you end... More

Stayed here last night, June 15. The hotel is very worn and old looking. The halls smell a little musty. The eggs and sausage they served for breakfast was not very good. Our room was ok. The bathroom had a bit of mold in it. In the room they have some kind of motion activated lights that were very annoying.... More

If you are looking for anything beyond super clean rooms and comfortable beds go stay at a resort. There are plenty in this area. This motel provided us with the basics that we wanted--a super clean room, comfortable beds, and a great location. This was the first time travelling with my husband since he became disabled 6 weeks ago and... More

If u are looking for a place to just lay you head for the night this hotel isnt bad... but dont expect to be using their wifi. A know issue with the hotel and they even give you a paper to call customer support to have them deal with it, as the hotel doesnt want to hear it. Otherwise the... More

Very run down, walls falling apart and I had to find my inner man-strength to get the shower knob to turn. Clean, though, I'll give it that. But the bed was really hard and the air conditioner sounded like a helicopter was trying to land in the room.

The building is falling apart on the outside and appears quite old inside - BUT - the rooms were very clean, bedding very comfortable, all necessities were excellent - refer, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer. Room floor clean. A bit older/slightly dirtier outside rooms and building and grounds a real mess. No elevator. Excellent breakfast (for these type hotel breakfasts).... More

Pros: Terrfic breakfast that included bacon, eggs, among healthier choices Friendly concierges Clean sheets, bed, bathroom. There's a nice field in the back of the building. Nice place to take a walk. Sliding glass doors on the first floor allow you to get to your car easily and move your stuff in and out fast. Cons: Gym is the worst... More
