We were traveling from Florida back to Western NY along Route 79. Seems there are no decent hotels/motels with reasonable prices in the area from Charleston WV to Pittsburgh. On our way to Florida, on a different route, we were able to find perfectly fine accomodations for $ 50 to $ 55 per night. Our quest this night was based... More

I spent one night @ Knights and I wasn't as dismayed as I was when I first read the reviews. The rooms are dated but adequate. They could use some freshening up but the rooms were clean and suitable for a nights stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and @ $68.00 it was an ok experience.

The problems are too extensive and numerous to list here. I wrote a lengthy separate email and forwarded it to this address a few days ago. I can resend it to someone who actually cares, if there is such a person.

After reading other reviews, I can't believe we are all talking about the same hotel. My ultimate impression was "what a dump"! First of all, excluding the pet fee which was average, the price for a room was pretty steep for what we got for the evening. There are 3 buildings to this property and with a pet, we were... More

I liked this motel's location near Interstate 79, its general clean and well-maintained appearance, the friendly staff, the comfortable room, with mini-fridge and microwave oven, and the good breakfast choices. No complaints. And, I paid $62.93 (after tax), which was very competitive for the Pittsburgh area. RJT

This is an attractive, well-run "budget" property outside of Pittsburgh, convenient for travelers along the I-79 corridor. Room access is from the outside which makes it convenient for loading and unloading, though less pleasant in bad weather. Despite the location, there was very little road noise. Our clean, good-sized room included a nice desk, good Internet access, coffee-maker (no decaf),... More

We've stayed here for years when we've come into town to visit my relatives in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. It's a no frills Motel. They can keep the prices fairly low, because the place is in the middle of nowhere, yet just down a side road to Bridgeville, and everything.

I have stayed at this property probably 16 times over the past 5 years as it is close to my mother's nursing home, but I just can't do it anymore. Had the same room on my last 2 visits - huge cob webs on the desk lampshade and in the corners of the ceiling, mold on the shower curtain, worn... More
