This place was horrific!!! Looks like a scene from a horror flick!! The smell hit you like a hammer to the head upon entering!! Smoke, funk, mold, etc,. The door to outside did not even have a key for security. Corridors were dark and scary looking. This was all before even entering the room, which the hotel does not give... More

...but not stellar if you're taking other friends or students there. I booked this place primarily because it was a little less expensive, but still had a swimming pool. The reservation process over the phone was pleasant, but check-in when we arrived took absolutely forever (while the 25 tired travelers with me stood in the parking lot awaiting room assignments).... calling the 800 # for choice hotels I had asked to book a room for the quality inn in breezewood, because I needed a corporate rate they sent me directly to the hotel. Because there was a "language gap" ( being polite) I didn't understand them when they answered the phone but thought it had to be the hotel I... More

This place is an absolute DUMP!!!! My reservation was in place because it was a holiday weekend, but I'd never stayed here. How bad could it be for 1 night arriving at midnight and leaving 7 AM? It didn't feel right from the crowd of people coming and going so late at night, so I left my bags in the... More

About one step up from a rent-by-the-hour establishment. That picture on top is a spread in Architectural Digest compared to the reality of the run-down, dark and malodorous lobby. A caveat: We booked at this place because, unusually, we were traveling with our dog -- long story -- and needed a place that was pet-friendly. Having said that, I would... More

Lets see... A dirty ashtray in a no smoking room, no towels, the room was freezing cold when we got in, the bed was littered with some sort of crumbs a bristle that looked like it came from a wild boar and a sliver of used soap passing for toiletries - plus it cost too much for the area. Horrible... More

We have been traveling on a budget for a long time, and are quite used with the dated and worn conditions of many one-night-stop type highway hotels. However, the Countryside Inn and Suites from Breezewood can easily claim a spot in our top three worst hotels not only in the continental US, but also including abroad travel in developing countries.... I had the miss pleasure of staying at this hotel for one night with a tour group on our way to the Inauguration, I had no choice but to stay. Let me say when we pull up into the parking lot my reaction was " What The Heck". It looks like a scary movies scene. So stepping into the door,... More
