Glendorn could not have given us a more wonderful winter weekend. I did not know that this place existed but I would love to return. Food was great, super accommodations for 6 adults in a cabin with 8 bedrooms. The activities along with perfect winter conditions included cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobile riding, ice skating, curling, and a Saturday night... More

My family just spent 5 glorious days at Glendorn. From the time the Limo picked us up at the airport in Buffalo until we were taken back it was all first class. We fished, hunted, shot skeet, rode bicycles, hiked trails,&chad fabulous messages. Each evening ended with a fabulous meal. On the last evening we ate some of the grouse, woodcock, chucker, and pheasant that... More

Just returned from 3 nights at Glendorn. It was our first visit there in 8 years. The new ownership has kept the high standards that we were used to. We had a private cabin on the grounds which was very snug and comfortable, with an indoor fireplace as well as an outdoor firepit, both of which we utilized. The service... More

What a memorable weekend--hard to believe this world class destination is less than 2 hours from Buffalo! The staff is really something special. Whatever we planned, they were a step ahead of us suggesting ways to make it better. When we scheduled a spa visit for a family group, they called back to make sure we were aware that the... More

One of a very few North American properties selected to participate in a guest chef exchange program where sister Relais properties have sent their ownership and chef to properties in North America to share their exquisite knowledge of hotelier and restauranteur expertise. Glendorn, nestled in the Northwest hills of Pennsylvania, is an undiscovered gem of a property that has long... More

I returned to Glendorn for a second weekend in a row. The reason was that I needed to follow-up on the two-hour session I had at the Forest Spa during the first visit. The Forest Spa is intimate, sized correctly for Glendorn, but I was after results and not just great ambiance. I had to make sure that I was... More

We recently completed a three night stay – our first – at Glendorn. Ours was a large family affair. We were delighted with the whole experience. The grounds are beautiful – a great mix of cabins, woods, lawns, lakes, paved roads, trails… We enjoyed trap shooting, fly fishing, walking, the swimming pool, the spa and (especially) the beautifully presented and... The casual atmosphere, private cabins, beautiful scenery and outdoor activities of a camping trip with the comfort, dining and service of a 5-Star Hotel is the way I describe Glendorn. It's a lovely contradiction. Picnics under the trees with beef filet sandwiches that melt in your mouth. Dinner outdoors by the lake with live entertainment, creative appetizers and a fireworks... My husband and I just spent a fantastic long weekend at The Lodge At Glendorn, situated in the area of the Allegheny National Forest in northern Pennsylvania. The grounds are so picturesque, trees, running streams and lakes. Each cabin different and unique. Furnished in rustic and comfortable style, with original books, paintings and appointments of the founding family. Staff, meals... More

This is the second year that our family has traveled from California, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania to enjoy the hospitality at rustic Glendorn. We are many in number and therefore have experienced several of the cabins and most likely all of the amenities. Our largest cabin, just above Skipper Lake had full baths for each of the four bedrooms and... More
