We had a wonderful time at Leaman's. I had never stayed at a place like this so I was a little nervous, but it was great. We stayed in the East Room, which is one of the smallest rooms, but it was big enough. My favorite feature of the property was the huge yard--the front porch has many chairs and... More

he husband and I enjoy visiting Lancaster for an evening get away during the fall. We originally had reservations for a B&B in the area but they accidentally over booked and we were left needing to find another place to stay. After searching online for a moment I found this gem. The price was great and the location was where... More

We stayed in the blue room with our two boys. There was plenty of room for 4 of us. The Leamans know hospitality and ensure the place is both clean and inviting. We didn't spend much time in the house during the day as the location was close to many activities. We spent the first two days visiting the almish... More

Stayed a couple of nights in the rose room, very relaxed and clean room. We had a picnic in the back yard on the picnic table one night while watching the sun go down, amazing views. Mr. Leaman is very knowledgeable of the area is always suggesting something worth wild.

If you are looking for a place that puts you in the middle of Amish Country, this is it. If you want to experience the smell of the farm, and some of the feel of home, this is it. We found the owner to be extremely helpful and kind. He shared a lot of time with us providing information on... More

Three of us stayed in the blue room, which has three beds. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The lodge (which is a brick home) has a nice size common space and effort has gone into decorating it. There is also flat screen tv in the living room and the kitchen was furnished. The outdoor area was well... More

This was the fourth time I have stayed here. As usual I enjoyed it greatly. It is such a beautiful place to stay and I feel really comfortable there. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody. It is the ONLY place I will stay at now when I am visiting PA. Thank you Leamans for this place to... More

As noted by previous reviewers, the owners are friendly and John is a fount of information about the area and about the Amish and Mennonite communities. If only it hadn't been so late when we arrived, and we so tired after a long day of driving, I'm sure we'd have been able to appreciate it more and remember it better.... More
