The Bell Inn is situated in a pretty and quaint village and looks very pretty from the outside. The staff are very welcoming, I cannot fault the welcome which we had on arrival and as we were in a rush to attend a wedding they rustled up a quick bite in the kitchen for us. However the pub could do... More

The Bell Inn is a quaint country pub, with a lovely relaxed garden, in a gorgeous location. It could be a fantastic with some smartening up, but our beef wellingtons were over cooked and the publican, while attempting to be entertaining, was simply invasive and annoying, so I can't score more than a three.

Very low beamed old country pub, so mind your head! Freindly, very accommodating staff and really nice food. Service was excellent and we all enjoyed our visit.I will certainly return to eat here again!

We took lunch in the Bell Inn with friends who live close by. It is a very typical English country pub in a quaint location, but not especially special so to speak. I was impressed with the warm friendly service which was faultless. I drank real ale which was good; sparkling water served in a glass obviously from the post-mix... More

Went to this pub for dinner. Absolutely gorgeous food, lovely people and great service, do not hesitate to book. The menu was simple classics, but cooked wonderfully and the puddings were delicious. I can also imagine this is a lovely place to stay, if booking into the hotel.

Went to the The Bell last night with work colleagues, all from London. A lovely evening, we had drinks in the beautiful garden before sitting down inside for food. I had a the beautiful lamb shank along with 2 others, it was wonderful. The mint gravy was so yummy, I could eat that as a soup !!!! Service was excellent.

We decided to make a weekend of visiting the History Live at Kelmarsh and decided on staying here rather than closer to the event. What a lucky choice. All of the staff are so freindly and really seem to enjoy what they are doing, Round pegs in round holes. It looked a quaint old place so we guessed the room... More

Quiet location in a peaceful village, The Bell provides good food in congenial surroundings. On a hot Summers Day we were able to sit outside under a marquee cover at a picnic table ( slightly awkward because they are on a slope) and eat our lunch whilst watching a variety of bees investigating the lavender flowers. Service here is "relaxed"... More

Thank you Bell Inn for accommodating my Ramblers' Group for Sunday lunch. Our organiser had arranged for the group to have lunch at a pub in a neighbouring village but two days beforehand that proprietor decided that it wasn't possible after all; the Bell Inn stepped in and welcomed us warmly. We had a lovely lunch which was served promptly... More

Theres only one negatives about this place and thats the shower and the television was a bit on the small side, but its in... More
