My partner and I came here for last minute dinner and drinks. We had no reservations but that wasn't a problem as we were seated straightaway. The drinks and food came very quickly. All home made and it was warm and delicious. It is lovey country pub/inn and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Will be definitely going back.

This is a lovely little Inn set in idyllic countryside village. Beautiful scenery and walks. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and can't do enough to help you. Breakfasts are huge! Sets you up for the day. We had a nice meal at the pub on the evening of our stay and it seems a popular venue for locals.... More

Very enjoyable stay here. Warm cosy room. Bar has a great atmosphere. Very quiet in the middle of a beautiful old England village. Very tasty breakfast with local ingredients. Will eat in the restaurant next time.

We booked in at this pretty pub, needing a stop between Surrey and York. It was lovely to arrive and get a warm welcome that was not via the Internet. This is a lovely old pub, and yes it is not perfect, but is a very old building. Our bedroom was small but had everything we needed for a overnight... More

The Bell Inn is situated in a pretty and quaint village and looks very pretty from the outside. The staff are very welcoming, I cannot fault the welcome which we had on arrival and as we were in a rush to attend a wedding they rustled up a quick bite in the kitchen for us. However the pub could do... More

The Bell Inn is a quaint country pub, with a lovely relaxed garden, in a gorgeous location. It could be a fantastic with some smartening up, but our beef wellingtons were over cooked and the publican, while attempting to be entertaining, was simply invasive and annoying, so I can't score more than a three.

Very low beamed old country pub, so mind your head! Freindly, very accommodating staff and really nice food. Service was excellent and we all enjoyed our visit.I will certainly return to eat here again!

We took lunch in the Bell Inn with friends who live close by. It is a very typical English country pub in a quaint location, but not especially special so to speak. I was impressed with the warm friendly service which was faultless. I drank real ale which was good; sparkling water served in a glass obviously from the post-mix... More

Went to this pub for dinner. Absolutely gorgeous food, lovely people and great service, do not hesitate to book. The menu was simple classics, but cooked wonderfully and the puddings were delicious. I can also imagine this is a lovely place to stay, if booking into the hotel.
