Spent recent weekend with girlfriends. Room 4 was perfect. 2 rooms slept 3 of us comfortably. Single bed was a trundle, but we didn't need it. Comfortable mattresses. 2 nice chairs. Antique decor. Updated bath. Large shuttered windows. Door to covered porch with 2 Adirondack chairs. Delicious, full breakfasts were included with our room. Great value! We enjoyed dinner there... More

Trip back in time. Clean and very ample parking. Food was very good and service was good and friendly. History here in a tavern that has been well documented as being haunted. This is really not a place I would expect to stay over but have been there for meals.

Went there for a special family get together, and enjoyed every bite. Lots of great menu choices, tried the apricot chicken with bourbon sweet potatoes, very original and delicious. Interesting choices, great craft beers on tap. Dine in the cellar, dark stone walls, antiques and coverlets hanging on the walls; feels like the days of the founding fathers. Nice bar... More

Beautiful, historic and quaint...Jean Bonnet is all of these and more...However, I was disappointed when I asked to see their gluten free menu..and I was told there was none..but the waitress offered to show me what was, "Sort of gluten free"...on the menu..If you are like me and need to avoid gluten for health reasons, you know there is no... If you are a history buff and have traveled the PA pike you can't help but have noticed the stunning Jean Bonnet Tavern near the town of Bedford exit. We've wanted to stop at the tavern for some years now & when we discovered the building also housed four guest rooms we decided to book. This is an amazing property... More

My best friend and I come to Bedford for the weekend every year - My grandparents told us to definitely eat at the Jean Bonnet Tavern - What an amazing place!! We eat here every time we come and it never disappoints - Sarah and I think about their french onion soup throughout the year! We love sitting either in... More

Historic, quaint restaurant with beautiful huge stone fireplaces, friendly staff and great food. We only live 30 min away so have never stayed here but come for lunch and dinner a few times a year. The food is always good, staff is great, enjoyable place to eat BUT if you are coming for dinner be sure to make a reservation... More

There are four rentable rooms on the top floor of the Jean Bonnet B&B. Mine--room #1--had a balcony facing the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The road noise was apparent, but not particularly bothersome. Likewise, the slanting wood floor (after years of settling) was more a point of curiosity than a reason for concern. What do you expect from a building built circa... More

My first stay in this B&B. It is a plain and quaint establishment. Somewhat disappointed with the lack of a TV or radio. I think it would be helpful to have a thermos of water, juice, cream next to the coffee pot in the hall in the morning; or some ice and water available. This B&B offered less than a... More

My husband and I love the Jean Bonnet for many reasons....it is very easy to find, reasonably priced, absolutely charming, the food is delicious & the tavern is a friendly place to hang out! We have stayed several times and have never been disappointed. I'm planning a sister-sister trip in a few weeks and will stay there. There are four... More
