There is a lot we love about Bedford, PA. This town is special and worth your time to look into. There is a historic resort/spa, museums, restaurants, festivals, and even an award-winning winery. We find that each venue is extremely unique and special in its own way. The Chancellor’s House is a B&B conveniently located in town and was recommended... more

We ran across this B & B on the Internet while looking for a nice place to stay in Pennsylvania and decided to stay a few days. We could not have picked a more beautiful place. The Inn is immaculate and the rooms beautifully appointed with antiques, and the beds were very comfortable. The yard and gardens are also very... more

We went to Bedford for the Fall Foliage Festival. The Chancellor's House was the perfect location for walking around historic Bedford. The owners, George and Lynn, were lovely, warm, friendly, helpful. They gave wonderful suggestions of where to eat, what to see, etc. Lynn's breakfast was delicious each morning. One of the evenings, George shared wine with us and gave... more

This was a really great place to stay, with every little thing perfect. The house was clean and shining, the room lovely, the innkeepers extremely nice and knowledgeable, even the garden was lovely and well-tended. I'd stay there again in a New-York minute! more

We had the opportunity to spend a night at the beautiful Chancellor's House in Bedford, PA this past spring. The beauty and history of the inn equalled that of the Bedford area. Enough cannot be said about the graciousness of the hosts, Steve and Lynn George. They truly personalized the stay, making it apparent from the first that our comfort... more

My husband and teenage son stopped over one night at the Chancellor's House on our way to tour Fallingwater. We were unable to get a good sense of the town of Bedford, but our brief overnight at this Bed & Breakfast was unforgettable. The owners are extremely gracious. An evening on the porch chatting with Steve was delightful. The breakfast... more

As a frequent flyer I have traveled everywhere it seems, and stayed at beautiful places, but have never been so unexpectedly charmed as I was after a recent visit to the Chancellor's House. Recently, my best friend and I decided we wanted to travel with our significant others for a long weekend that required no airport delays or hassle. We... more

A stunningly beautiful and immaculate B and B. Wine and cheese on the front porch with the owners, an architect and a theater major. Exquisite taste in antiques, that fit the federal style of the home. Beautiful garden and formal full breakfast on china and crystal by candlelight! Delicious omelet, bacon, fruit and all the trimmings. Accomodated a special dietary... more
