I usually don't write reviews but I am making an exception this time because of the inpeccable service I got at this property. I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and must say that between the great indoor pool, the spacious rooms, really comfortable mattresses, the wonderful staff, the hip bar and convinient location is bar none the best... more

We should have known better. Howard Johnson sucks. The outside of the hotel is fine, not very inviting, but just ok. The main lobby is dark. The one staff hotel woman (aside from housekeeping) is friendly. No business center. If you need access to a computer or need to print something, no can do in this inn. They have a... more

Very nice hotel, staff very friendly, room clean. We like how close it is to the mountain (we went to ski). It is very easy to find from the highway. 3 things we didn`t like: 1-the pool was very dirty with leaves and even a cotton swab (even if it is indoor) 2- the food at the restaurant was more... more

The place was very clean, and appeared to be recently renovated. The staff and bartenders were all very cool and a pleasure to deal with. To my surprise the property had an amazing heated tropical indoor pool. We were situated extremely close to al of the ski resorts. Camelback was about 3 miles from the hotel! Even though the place... more

We recently went back to the Poconos and stayed at the HoJo's again. Its has been about 3 years since we were in that area last and boy has it changed! The area around the hotel has exploded with developments... lots of new shopping areas and restaurants. The hotel itself hasn't changed a whole lot. We called the hotel direct,... more

We booked 2 adjoining rooms 1 for the kids, 1 for my wife and myself. The reservation was made quickly over the phone. We arrived Friday to 2 very clean rooms with microwaves and fridges, that was real helpful ! We skied all afternoon at Camelback Ski mountain only 10 minutes away. After settling in that evening we had a... more

Check the beds and sheets before you lay down- or better yet, just pay a little more for a reputable hotel with clean rooms and get a decent night’s rest. First, rooms smelled like cigarettes even though they were non-smoking. It got better when we found a worm crawling on a pillow and bed sheets had hair on them. Floors... more

Wasn't sure about the place at first, was happy with the proximity to the ski mountain and the prices. When we arrived i began to doubt it, there was a few vehicles in the parking lot that had been "plowed in " and most of them didnt have registration plates affixed to them. The desk staff was nothing but helpful... more

Pretend this place doesn't exist... I happen to stop here because of snowstorm. Never again. HoJo should be ashamed to put their name on this place. Rather sad when you expect some level of quality in a name. 1. Dirty Pool. 2. Bugs in Room. 3. Poor Bandwidth. 4. Soda machine disperse wrong product. 5. Noisy Heating System 6. Heating... more

We stayed at this hotel, which was about 10 minutes from the ski resort that we were visiting and we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel, especially in light of other hotels we have stayed at during previous visits. The room was very clean and it smelled good. Bedspreads, curtains and carpet were rather new. Bathroom was nice and clean.... more
