This is a wonderful, relaxing bed and breakfast! The view from our room was amazing- overlooked the pacific ocean along with the beautiful sound of the waves. We enjoyed a relaxing soak in the outdoor jacuzzi that sits in the beautiful gardens while sipping a glass of wine and gazing at the pacific. It is located about 10 minutes south... More

I cannot say enough about the view from our room and the sound of the ocean. Beautiful property and Mary is so attentive. Yachats is a sweet town with just enough to do. Mary is flexible for when you may eat breakfast. Very nice especially if you want to sleep in. My breakfast, however, left much to be desired. The... More

I stayed here one night in August while traveling up the coast. Mary has a very nice home situated on a hill overlooking the ocean. You can see and hear the ocean from your room or while walking through her gorgeous gardens. You can also walk down to the beach for the sunset. Mary was attentive and very helpful with... More

Mari, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It was wonderful having you & Bruce as guests. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay as much as we enjoyed you as guests. It was also a treat to share our mutual Indiana & Michigan histories. Thanks again, Mary More

Mary has created a beautiful garden that complements the surrounding forest, a loving work of art. The house was built to be a B&B, so it works well. The carriage house unit is a two-room suite over the garage, with windows facing the beach across 101. You can hear the ocean, the breeze through the trees, and the occasional frog.... More

My sister actually found Ambrosia Gardens and called me to say that we HAD to stay there instead of the hotel. Was she ever right!!! We would have missed out on a super night's stay at a very lovely place. Mary was such a great host! From the moment we met her we felt like we were welcome to relax... More

Noni, Thank you for your kind words. And thanks to the Oregon couple who spoke highly of their stay here while touring Heceta Head Lighthouse with your sister. It was a pleasant surprise having her drop in to tour the rooms & gather information for you. Thanks again, Mary More

We are regular guests at this fantastic B&B. Seems to only get better with time. Mary always makes us feel welcome and remembers our favorite breakfast treats. The proximity to the ocean and hiking trails makes it a perfect "home base" for coastal adventures. Each time we stay we feel at home and pampered. We recommend this jewel to all... More

What a beautiful place - gardens are lovely even if it's nearing the end of flowers. The breakfast was "made to order" taking into account our likes and dislikes (or allergies). The owners are very welcoming and quite knowledgeable about the area. Everything was clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Ambrosia Gardens in Yachats Oregon. The owner treated us like family by hosting us with a beautiful room and a terrifice 2 course breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was served at our chosen time. We would recommend Ambrosia Gardens to all of our freinds traveling in that region

This was our first time trying a B&B and it was far better than expected. Mary, our host, was very welcoming and thorough when describing places to visit in the area. Her breakfasts were fantastic, with great presentation, great food, and of course great company at the breakfast table. The room was very comfortable and very clean, with a great... More
