You don't go to a place like this as a destination, but if you want to spend a comfortable night right on the crashing, cool waves of the Oregon coast, this is unbeatable for the price. Step out your door & you are immediately on the breath-takingly beautiful Oregon Coast Trail in Yachats, "Gem of the Oregon Coast." Just have... More

This is a good (not great) hotel located in the decidedly un-touristy Yachats, pronounced YAH-hats. It fits right in with the area. If you're looking for oceanfront place with a view and to walk the oceanfront, this is the place. There is a famous walking trail, the "804," which is accessed right in front of the hotel. The Adobe is... More

One room in dog friendly unit had a pile of dead and dying insects. There is no security on staff and the night staff is I n adequate to handle customer problems. There was no maintenance at night. A customer acted in threatening manner and all the staff would day was to call police. They exchanged rooms to handle the... More

Even on the "hill" side (parking lot) w/o a view, the room was very quiet. There was a wedding that night in the restaurant and we didn't hear it. The bed was wonderful. The resort allowed bicycles in the room (safer than on the rear rack).

We stayed here after a night at Deane's Oceanfront hotel. The hotel is much bigger, nicer, and has more amenities and is just on the edge of town. The rooms are very nice and there is a free games room with air hockey table, but it was very hot in there so we did not bother. There is beach access,... More

We got an exceptional room and a great price with no more than a few hours reservation. The view is fantastic and we could leave our window and curtains open always without concern and just enjoy the view and the sounds of the surf. Our room had a large window, leather chair, lounge chair, fireplace, large screen TV, upscale decor,... More

We were on a road trip heading down the coast of Oregon. We were shocked and dismayed to find that practically every hotel in every town along the coast was sold out. We were starting to lose hope when we saw the vacancy sign on the adobe. It has a gorgeous drive up and is right on the water- as... More

It's nice being right on the water and the place in clean and kept up ok and the people are nice but it is pretty tired and could really use a face lift. Yachats is a pretty laid back place though so Adobe fits right in.

Our reservations where made in March for August stay. We specified when making reservation a lower room on the southern portion of the facility. Upon arrival we were instead given a room on the extreme northern side of property which was mostly in the shade. The front desk staff were unable to relocate us to side we requested. On the... More

We travel to Yachats yearly to visit our friends from Oregon. It is a trip we always look forward. The Adobe is a perfect place for us. It overlooks the ocean, has a pool, a good restaurant and good access to walking trails overlooking the ocean. The price is very reasonable. the staff has been very accomodating and we have... More
