This was our first visit to Wheeler on the Bay. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite right on the bay with our own deck. It had a nice deep spa tub and a very comfortable bed. The hosts thought of many nice little touches, from facial wipes, lots of extra creamers for... More

Stormy weather, night driving and a long day made for a unexpected overnight stop. So glad I turned into this lovely accommodating squeaky clean lodging establishment. Our room was perfectly appointed with everything we could need including a nice kitchenette, dining area and a little balcony. There is a huge movie selection, complementary snacks and breakfast everything I didn't know... More

Spotless! Beautifully decorated rooms each with it's own theme Great movies to choose from and a deck over the bay is a huge bonus! Overall I would say quaint and classy. Tsunami restrain next door was great food, I've cold beer and fabulous service

Over the years we have made many trips to the Central Oregon Coast. We typically stay in a beach town and wondered how we would like staying on the bay, a bit farther away from the ocean and sandy beaches. This peaceful oasis was a perfect choice, and we certainly will plan to come back. The rooms and grounds were... More

Tracy and Pat have done an amazing job of creating a very comfortable, homey atmosphere at their Lodge. Everything you could want or need is already in your room. It's more like stay with friends that at a motel. Tracy has a flair with her décor, comfortable and pleasing with lots of pacific coast touches. We loved the big towels,... More

Finding Wheeler Lodge On The Bay was like discovering a precious gem in the sand! I came upon Wheeler several years ago when looking for a place for my Portland to Coast team to stay after the PTC relay race. I had started looking too late to find anything in Seaside; turns out this was to our benefit! Our team... More

We stayed in the small but super clean Sunset room (Room #8) on our way down the coast to Yachats. Its called the sunset room for obvious reasons - the decor in the room and the breath-taking sunset that you can watch from your room or your deck. The room was a bit odd in that the 1-person jacuzzi/shower combo... More

The Wheeler Hotel is a wonderful little boutique hotel on the central Oregon coast. If you are in the area and need a room for the night, choosing the historic Wheeler Hotel would be a wise choice. The owner has decorated the rooms in impeccable early American style. The baths are updated and very unexpectedly comfortable. Good food adjacent to... More

Where do I begin? We stayed in the Great Blue Heron room for 3 nights. Our stay started off with a hospitable check in by owner Pat, who personally takes you to the room and gives you the grand tour showing you where everything is located to ensure you are comfortable while away from home. The room was spotless &... More
