The Casino is on the highway. The lodge is 12 miles away on a narrow, winding road. There is no regular shuttle between them. The rooms in the village are low end Best Western style. The restaurants are very expensive and all at the lodge, which is nearly 1/2 mile from the Village and the hot pools. Again, no shuttle... More

We opted for a night in a teepee to give our young niece a taste of "camping," which was very fun and comfortable, despite somewhat noisy neighbors late at night and early in the morning. I loved falling asleep with the campfire flickering on the interior teepee walls. The water slides were tons of fun, and by going later in... More

I have been going to Kah-Nee-Ta for 30 years. Service has declined during the past 3 years to the point that I will not return. I made our reservation on the first day that was allowed in February 2014 for our August trip. I requested, since they do not assign sites, a 50 amp and a site on flat ground... More

It seems Kah-nee-ta has opted to become children friendly all the way... and forgot all about adults guests... The bar by the pool at the lodge is abandoned, you no longer can have drinks by the poolside. The bathrooms, sauna, showers by the exercise room are no longer available... there was a piece of plywood blocking the door without explaining... More

Took one last trip before back to school. Check in time is way too late in the day at 4:30. Luckily we arrived at 3:00 and they had a room ready. Enter our room and it was very hot with no Working A/C. They did fix it while we went down to the pool for a few hours. Rooms are... More

We stayed at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort for several days in August 2014, and found most aspects of our stay adequate to average, but nothing spectacular (except the amazing setting in Oregon's High Desert). Overall, the resort clearly had the feel of its 35 year old age. Rooms were spacious, but a little worn. Public spaces, dining areas and the pools where... More

My stay was so-so at the lodge. The room was nice as well as the view. WAS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE THOUGH. Upon arrival we received two breakfast passes as part of our stay. We used both of them and were very impressed with the breakfast. Unfortunately, the Chinook room has charged us twice now for "free" meals. Not only... More

We stayed a few days in Kah Nee Ta Resort this summer and found the place below average. Rooms are spacious but a bit run down. The swimming pool in the resort is quite crowdy and if you go to the larger pool in the village, you have to pay to be able to use the slides or rent towels... More

Stayed at Kah Nee Ta resort for business. The resort has all the amenities one would expect of a first class resort; golf course, tennis courts, spa, horses for rent, family camping area, river rafting, hiking trails and more. They have two restaurants on site and a deli in the family camping/cabin area next to the river. The resort site... More

The accommodations themselves were fine, the bars have horrible service. The main dinning area was closed to reset for the next meal. So we went to the main bar to grab a bite. There were only 2 tables of people and we might as well have not even been there as the service staff ignored us most of the time.... More
