In our recent trip to Wallowa Lake, OR we stayed in this motel for few days. It was a really nice place and the service was great. The motel is family owned and managed. The room was clean, comfy and quiet. The price is affordable. Though it is quite a bit far from Wallowa Lake, it is worth it, We... More

The owner is pretty proud of the place. Pretty rustic for my taste. We stayed one night and booked our of there, uncomfortable for women, maybe at $35 per night I can see it, but $80? No thanks. If I wanted a $35 dollar motel, I would have paid $35

Brenda you stayed with me 2 times the first I put you in my queen suite because it was all I had at the time. I gave you that rate because of your family and wanted you conformable for your 2 nights on July 31. After you stayed the first night your mother stayed in your room the second night.... More

The Mingo is a good, affordable option for the Wallowa Lake area. It is a bit of a drive from the lake though. The motel is not glamorous, but it is remodeled, clean, quiet, doesn't have a two-night min., and very economical. It is very laid back though, for example, when we arrived, no one was there to check us... More

Kimberly, The only reason I left my door open for you is because of a family emergency. I did not want you to wait 1 minute. Unfortunately that was a very costly mistake on my behalf that will never be repeated. You brought a pet in my no pet room without my knowledge . Your dog decided to go digging... More

This was a wonderful place to stay. Lovely atmosphere. A great courtyard yo set outside and enjoy the weather. Only draw-back is it is 30 miles from where we wanted to visit Wallowa Lake. Wallowa is not Wallowa Lake, two different places. I would stay there again.

We were in Wallowa for the Fiddle Tunes Camp, which is a week long so our stay at the Mingo was 5 nights. We loved it! Clean, great AC, quiet, and very nicely decorated by local artisans. We're looking forward to staying there again next summer!

My husband and I wanted to visit Wallowa Lake and Joseph,Oregon. We were unable to obtain lodging at the lake itself, as all the spots were already reserved. Upon checking the lodging options in Joseph, it was either too expensive or the motels would not list their prices on the net. Bingo Motel popped up as an option in nearby... More

Very nice place. with wonderful and friendly service. Quiet, peaceful and quaint. Each room is different in décor that is warm and inviting and all rooms on the main floor as this is a small family owned motel. I travel a lot and I must say it has one of the BEST BEDS ever! The community around is small but... More

From a distance this looks like any number of older style motels. Upon closer inspection, you can see that this place is indeed special as the other guests have mentioned. The decorative touches to the exterior and the furnishings inside are not necessary, but they give the place a *feel* that makes you want to come back and also affirms... More

Very cute & clean rooms :) We had two rooms for our large family. Very affordable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Wallowa is such cute friendly town. We recommend Little Bear for dinner and ice cream! We also had a scrumptious breakfast at the Main Street Grill.

After getting stood up at the Country Inn in Enterprise and no other vacancies in Enterprise, we ended up at the Mingo Motel, it was 20 miles off our planned traveling route, but it was worth it! The rates were much better and the room was excellent. It was very clean, it seemed like everything was new. The beds were... More
