Excellent view on bay side (odd numbers) bad on parking lot side. Stayed 2nd floor far end of hotel, most amazing view ever from large windows. 1st floor is walkout to grass, fire pits and water on bay side, or pool in middle of hotel. Was likely 5* hotel about 20 years ago. Still ok, clean but chipped tub etc.... More

we stayed here because the koa recommended it and they had a vacancy on the weekend. The price was right. It is called a resort and I am not for sure why. They have a restaurant that is not consistently opened and there is a pool. Other than this there is not a difference between a hotel and the Alsi. The... More

We probably would have never stayed here, if my car had not broke down on our way home from the coast that day. This was seemingly the only place to stay in all of waldport, as far as hotels go. I was happy that they allowed dogs although the owner/manager was not pleased the dog was in the lobby and... More

Right on the water so you get a great view of the bridge and the bay. Rooms are clean but small with old T.V's. The only wastebasket is in the bathroom which has no counter space, and the walls are thin so you hear your neighbors conversations. Continental breakfast is a complete joke. Packaged donuts, mini muffins, and small pastries... More

I will point out the good points first: Dog friendly, you our on the ground floor facing the water and you can walk your pups. right out side, very nice. View of the bridge & water nice, easy on and off to main road, safe we felt, clean room, nice staff at counter and price was good. Bad points: Need to... More

We got the last room on a very busy weekend after trying many other places. It appears as if this hotel is under new management and is working on getting back up to speed. The staff was very friendly and the room was quiet and comfortable. We did notice a spot in the carpet in the main hallway that had... More

the rooms were filthy and the sheets on the beds were not clean and the staff was very rude i will never stay here again. They didnt chasnge the sheets from the last people who stayed in that room and their excuse was that they were short staffed that day and i watched the maids remake the beds without changing... More

We found it hard to find and looked as others have said rather abandoned. They are obviously going thru some changes but the rate was affordable, the room a good size, bed was comfortable, room was clean. Kia & Rebecca totally awesome. We had concerns about our motorcycles as the parking area was wide open and the hotel is somewhat... More

This I believe is our 6th or 7th stay at the alsi resort. On this trip we did not bring our 170+lb St. Bernard and Rebecca suggested we try one of there suites with the kitchenette. When we arrived they had put a roll away cot in the room for our daughter. The room had a good microwave, mini fridge,... More

Give it a chance if you're stuck in Waldport. We spent 8 days in a Beach House. When it was time to leave my family insisted we stay another night. so I had to find something quick.Alsi fit the bill.Available. 3 rooms, reasonable rates. Yes, it does look abandoned, but it's quiet. Kia at the desk was very nice and... More
