We love Beachside - it is right on the beach, easy access and small - about 75 spaces total. It is small so feels very private regardless of the space you are in. This park is close to 60+ years old and the design is simple and on the small side. We love that, but the mega-RVs don't have an... More

On a 2 week RV trip along the OR coast, this was the only place we found that is actually on the ocean-side of 101. Great campsites with tall trees all around, hot showers, and a beautifully wide beach. Yes - as others have noted - you can hear highway noise; but if you are traveling and camping along the... We enjoyed our stay here. We picked a campsite right beside the playground which was great for our 3 year old. I don't know if it was the time we went but it was insanely windy where we were. The spaces were an ok size and the activities for kids were great too. There are a ton of trails to... More

This was a nice campground. Smaller sites, but very nice. Clean washrooms with hot showers. Only complaint I would have is you could hear the traffic going by, especially the noisy motorcycles. Best campsites are those for the RV's. Wood for campfires can be purchased here. Beautiful sprawling beach that is just a short walk from the campsites.

If you like the sound of traffic more than you like the sound of the surf than this is the campground for you. A loop sits immediately on the edge of 101 so all you hear is the sound of traffic whizzing by. The beach is gorgeous and the bathrooms are super clean. I'm just a little disappointed that they... Remember this: One may reserve a tent or yurt site exactly 9 months before arrival. Figure out exactly which day you need to reserve--the reservation folks will tell you since it depends on how long you want to stay. Call as soon as the lines open. That's the only way to get a yurt. We have stayed at Orion (the... More

Takes my breath away! What an incredible campground! I will certainly return one of these days. Had a site right next to the beach. Very private sites, excellent access to the beach. Loved the size of the campground as a whole. Nice and small and close to bathrooms :) I can't wait to go back!!

We stayed 3 nights with our pop up tent trailer at Beachside State Campground. We were in site 43, which is a large site, close to the bathrooms, not far from the showers and beach trail. The campsite is a large area, but the payment to put our trailer on was very narrow and tight. Our trailer door is on... More

Our first time to the Oregon coast, stayed in tent site, we enjoyed every minute of our stay, very hospitable, close to the beach. We are definitely planning to make another visit next year. The area was clean and well kept.
