I travel quite a lot but I can easily say that Cliff House B&B is far and away the best place I've stayed on this continent. Aside from its beautiful ocean view, the house is cozy and well-maintained. Sharon works hard to make you feel right at home (or better than home) by doing everything from cooking beautiful breakfasts and... More

Breakfasts at the Cliff House are terrific! In three breakfasts the only items repeated were the fresh-squeezed orange juice and the fruit cups, but the fruit was different each morning. Different scones and muffins every day. Ham and crepes with huckleberry sauce the first morning; bacon and quiche the second; and out-of-this-world orange soufflé the third. Our room was very... We enjoyed the stay in Cliff House Bed and Breakfast for several reasons. First of all, It is a enchanting place like a visit to grandma house. They were very gratuitous hosts, and made we feel very comfortable since the first moment. Second, the house is beautiful, and the rooms are very comfortable, so we felt like at home. Another... The house is meticulous and host Sharon will make sure you keep it that way.. No shoes inside. I didn't mind..it felt like being at my moms home! Sharon and Glen are a wealth of information about the area and are helpful in any way needed. Our room was a small one with a weird windows that overlook the living... More

We recently enjoyed three wonderfully, peaceful days at the Cliff House. The comfort, views, and breakfast were spectacular. I was especially fond of the 7:30 coffee delivery to our room! Sharon and Glenn work endlessly to ensure their guests have everything they need and then some. We look forward to a return visit.

My husband and I found this lovely place by reading other reviews on this site. They were all absolutely right. We stayed in the Alsea Room which is slightly separated from the main house and I highly recommend it. It has marvelous views of the ocean, the bridge and the inlet. We had planned on only one night here but... More

I had the good fortune of choosing the Cliff House Bed & Breakfast for my week-long stay on the Oregon coast. The home was warm and welcoming, grounds and view spectacular, and breakfast was the best I've ever had on a daily basis (yes, I gained 3 pounds over my week-long stay!). Hearing the words "welcome home" when I returned... More

My son and I stayed at Sharon's and Glen for one night only and were pleased with the location and welcome. Sharon even let me use her printer for an urgent job which was very kind. The room was small but confortable, but the true highlight was the breakfast with an orange soufflé for 8 spirited out of a tiny... More

Stayed in the Alsea room. The view was spectacular. It was clear on our visit so this may have attributed to feeling like we were in an impressionist painting... Sharon and Glen were friendly and acomodating. A laid back setting with just the right amount of amenities.

The Cliff House is in a near-perfect position overlooking the Alsea estuary, with fantastic sea views and close to a wonderful, quiet beach. The Alsea room is detached from the main house and is more private than the other rooms in the characterful house. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished, and offer everything you need for a comfortable... More
