My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Coastal Mountain Sporthaus. Sandy and Glen are fantastic hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sandy's cooking is phenomenal, the grounds are beautiful, and the rooms quite comfortable. I enjoyed practicing yoga with Sandy each day, and my husband and Glen went on an early-morning bike ride together on our last... More

We were a group of six ol' guys who enjoyed the hospitality of Sandy and Glen. For a one night stay three of us arrived on bikes (starting in Banks, Oregon) and three in a pickup truck. What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy great meals. In addition to the gourmet meals, everything else was first-rate (the bunk house,... More

Wow. I don't even know where to begin. My fiance and I went on a 7 day bike trip through oregon in June, and this place was by far, our favorite. Glen and Sandy were incredible hosts for the one night we stayed here, and this amazing place was one we will remember forever. The house is gorgeous, the food... More

Glen and Sandy have created a beautiful place to rest, relax and unwind. I spent the weekend at a yoga retreat. The space is delightful- comfortable, warm, inviting. The yoga space was beautiful, with a roll up door that looks out over the pasture, and is well stocked with props. I did not partake of the indoor sleeping accommodations, as... More

Not only is this the ONLY place to stay if you're cycling between the coast and Portland but it is THE place to stay. From the moment you arrive, Sandy and Glen give you the red carpet treatment, helping you stretch, escorting you to the soaking tub, providing you a gown while she launders your kit, providing wine and cheese,... Our hosts Glen and Sandy made everything extraordinary from food to yoga to bike service. The guesthouse was beyond comfortable. It's location peaceful and close to some GREAT biking. Will return for the cappuccinos!

What a wonderful choice for our girls weekend-- the perfect environment to get away from the grind, relax and catch up with good friends. Sandy and Glen were amazing hosts and did everything in their power to make our stay enjoyable-- from making delicious cappuccinos on demand (thank you Glen!) to guiding us through the most relaxing yoga where you... Great food, lodging, ideally located 50 miles from the coast. Very friendly hosts. Soothing cows. Directly along the route from the ocean to Portland. Heavily recommend. Cell phones won't work there -- but they have WIFI.

This was our third time staying at the idyllic Coastal Mountain Sport Haus, and we'll keep coming back! There are beautiful vistas out of every window: cows in the pasture, a rustic barn, the Nehalem River, timbered hills and apple, pear and elderberry trees. It was my birthday celebration, and Sandy & Glen Crinklaw made sure it was special. The... More

The hosts were great for me traveling on business. They even had my latte of choice ready in the morning. The cows were a wonderful distraction for the business purpose of my trip. It is not really meant as business lodging, but it does the job. The hosts were wonderful and if you need some solitude, this is the place!
