Sandy river was a clean tidy well run site with good washroom facilities and Wi Fi and makes a good choice for visiting Columbia River Gorge and Portland, it's located between the two. It's hard to fault the site but we prefer the surroundings of the wooded National/State park campgrounds whereas this site is side by side parking in a... More

This RV park has it all...FHU, CATV and internet. It's managed by a team who do a great job! It's location on the East side of Portland allows access to both the Columbia Gorge and to downtown Portland. The tengointernet is a bit vexing at times but the signal is good throughout and band width adequate for peak times. The... More

Sites were plenty large to allow privacy. Whole park is cleaned and well-maintained. Bathrooms are ample and clean - only complaint here is that the walk to the bathrooms from the front of the park is super long and exacerbated by the heat. Private access to the river which is awesome - dogs can swim here. Quiet atmosphere to the... More

Very clean, pretty setting. What I liked most was the bus stop out front. The bus connected me to MAX which took me into Portland. I had a riverside site. A nice grassy area with lots of trees. Never saw the water, but sure it was down there somewhere.

This is a nice park for a couple night stay, in a great jump-off location. There is so much to do in the area that we were only in the park to sleep. It sits right on the Sandy river, and it is near but not on a highway. There is a train that runs pretty regularly. Everything is clean.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in early July and found it to be a perfectly adequate, clean, and nice place to stay. Nothing hugely spectacular about the site itself - as others have said there is no particular play area for kids or dogs. My three kids were happy playing on the grassy part of our site (they are... I don't know how anyone can sleep at night here, with the horns of the passing trains echoing through the Gorge every hour or two - all night long!! I woke up multiple times during the night feeling like my brain was rattling. I appreciated the train conductors who just rolled through withOUT blaring their horns (about half the time... More

Clean park, nice facilities. We stayed in early December and got snowed in. Worst cold front they had in years, but we survived. The Park was nice and the management was even nicer. We would stay there again some time.

First let me say, I'm writing this review as a mother of three active children, ages 5, 6 and 7, and we are full time RVers. With that said, the RV park itself is very nice, and the staff is friendly. There are several things I found that are close by- such as Walgreens, Walmart, Kmart, Fred Meyer, Kohls, Best... More

Located on the east edge of Troutdale, OR (and Metro Portland). Close in to all the City attractions and rural Oregon at the same time. Wonderful location on the Sandy River, mountains and the Columbia River. We will be back!
