Overall, this was a great place for us to stay when attending a wedding in Troutdale. It was easy to find and very clean. The breakfast was tasty and provided a nice variety of foods. I felt we got a quality option for the amount of money that we spent. We visited the waterfalls and drove through the Columbia Gorge.... More

This hotel was very comfortable with friendly staff and a nice breakfast of hot and cold items.....the food didn't run out. On the day you checkout, they let you stay until 1pm. This was the perfect place to start my Columbia Gorge Scenic drive. The town nearby, Troutdale, is quaint and has a nice martini bar with great gourmet items... More

Stayed here while attending a wedding in the area. The staff were accommodating as to our room selection and the complimentary breakfast and evening snacks are a real plus. The room was clean and the noise level was at a tolerable level.

We stayed there on May 27 and again June 1. Hotel looks great inside and out. Our beds were very comfortable-firm but with a thick, soft pad on top. Great amenities. They serve soup, crackers and cookies at 5 p.m. This was enough for our dinner the first night. Great breakfast variety-boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage,... You make me happy : ). Thank you for making the time to write, and, most of all, for coming back so quickly. Did you get sausage both trips? You must have hit the rotation just right... we have a four day rotation of combinations of meat and eggs that includes sausage, turkey ham, and bacon on the meat side... More

Easy on and off the 84 highway exit 17. Hotel is very quiet, clean, and comfortable. There is only a outdoor hot tub, but didn't bother us. Located not far from the Edgefield Inn, an interesting property to ecplore. If you like Outlet malls there is one across the highway. Breakfast in the morning (usual fare), hot soup and cookies... Thank you. We'll take "very nice hotel" any day in reward : ). All of our rooms have the amenities you mentioned, which is nice (she says, after tripping multiple times in her travels over the expected refrigerator NOT being in the room), and I appreciate you mentioning. Edgefield is amazing isn't it? I don't know if you got the... More

We totally enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed the soup and cookies in the evening. Very clean and accommodating. Friendly helpful staff. I have one gripe, and not toward the hotel/staff. This hotel is very accommodating to our furry family members. Provided a snack and waste bag upon check in. Gave us a room close to pet area for those late night... More

Our first tripadvisor rant! [I do so love a good rant.] There is no danger of us losing our pet-friendliness [I personally have 288 pounds of sweet black-and-tans in three bodies)... we just clean up the back lawn and make up some pet treats for the next lovely ones through the door. But, yes, point taken - it would be... More

Best place too stay in my books, rooms are really good, check out is 1 pm. Free breakfast 6-10am and the catch is they have soup and cookies at 5pm, now how do you beat that. DQ next door for fast food, just up the street is a small outlet mall.

: ) Holidays are the best. Happy that you spent one of yours with us. You've pretty much covered it... soup and cookies at 5:00, free hot breakfast from 6:00a to 10:00a, and a 1:00 (1:00!) checkout for everyone every day... traveling doesn't get a whole lot more agreeable than that. : )) You made me smile, thank you. We stayed here based on the great reviews and are in agreement with the others! This is not the Ritz-Carlton but it's comfortable, it's clean, and the price is right. We were here for 4 days so got 25% off. The discount is hard to find on the website but it is there after going through the reservation process. We... More

It makes our day when a guest mentions at check-in that they are at our hotel because they read the reviews (and it makes our week when the reviews prove out and you make the time to write one yourself). Thank you, it is appreciated. You can be assured that if you asked for a pet-free room, that's what you... More

I am town for the Sandy Spey Clave and we heard this was the spot to stay and they were right. We are not to far from Oxbow Park, the room is comfortable and we are close to some good restaurants. I will stay here again next year without question. I would recommend it to a friend.

I just went and checked the Spey Clave site... looks like they put on a great event! - I'm going to have to wander that way next year to watch all the two-handed fly casting : ). Delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, and even more tickled that you got to us through a recommendation from a friend... More

We stayed 2 nights. The room was a little small, but enough to get around. There is an airport next to the hotel, but was not a problem. We chose this hotel because it was close to the highway which was a plus to get into Portland. The breakfast was OK. There is a Dairy Queen next to the hotel.... More

It's a nice straight shot into downtown Portland, isn't it? I love it that you can pick a direction and in thirty minutes be either in the heart of the city, standing under a waterfall, hiking through the forest, or on top of Larch Mountain with a view of five gorgeous mountains and one magnificent river. I am happy that... More
