Attended a wedding here. Do NOT choose this venue. Totally overpriced with poor service from the hotel, catering, and service staff. We found used earplugs under the pillows. The bride and groom paid far too much for this place. Have loved so many McMenamins places from the mid nineties, but this place is horrible! All complaints fell on deaf ears... More

we've been coming here for years, and always find something different. we had family from out of town again, and we began strolling around the grounds, showing them the golf course and gardens. we grabbed a 2 beers, a cocktail, and a whiskey to accompany us on our exploration. the hotel itself is restored beautifully, plus the little huts, distillery,... Lots to do and see. Pool is unfortunately warm even in summer with nowhere to sit. Rooms had no bathroom, but were very spacious. Food and drinks are great. Tons of weddings going in. A neat place to experience but next time I'd probably just spend the day there and stay somewhere else.

This is a great place to stay if you're breaking up a trip from the city or the beach and want to see the Gorge for a day. It is very hot and noisy in the summer as it is a retrofitted historical building, which is the charming reason you should stay here. It can be really fun to eat,... More

Attended a wedding on the 3rd floor, called the Attic room.........all i can say is that it was so sweltering hot up there with only a mini window air conditioner for all the 50 plus guests!!! I finally couldnt take the heat anymore, as i was feeling like i was going to have a spontaneous combustion!!! I ended up going... More

Saw Billy Idol in concert in the past and have stayed here two additional times. I’ve enjoyed my stay each time. The artwork is beautiful and so are the entire grounds. I was fortunate to have a room with some AC on one stay, not so fortunate the other stay.

McMenamins Edgefield is more than a hotel. In addition to having lovely rooms the location has a brewery, distillery, a garden, a convert venue, a soaking pool, multiple bars and restaurants and all of it interestingly restored. The staff was friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty..always cheerful no matter the time of day - Very flexible about us... More

I have been to several of the mcmenamins and I really enjoyed this one. It was a fun place to walk around and the best part, is you can walk around with drinks as long as you are on the property. One of the bartenders described it as disney world for adults, and I feel like that is a pretty... More

It's hard to say anything negative about a hotel with its own brewery, distillery, several bars on the premises, with a pool room, movies, and a concert venue. The fan was nice, but even with the air moving, it was still 95 degrees the day we visited. I did my best to sample many beers, ate at the pub, and... More

We have stayed at the Edgefield many times over the past 13 years and we always LOVE our time there. We've had several different rooms, sometimes with private bath, but we think it's fun walking to the shared baths in our robes. The shared baths are actually private rooms with tub or shower, your choice. Very comfortable. I don't understand... More

Sounds like you had a wonderful and relaxing time. I remember being taken aback at first after the installation of the soaking pool; everyone sauntering the grounds in robes. It's great. See you again, thank you for taking the time to review us and share your experience. Owen Craig McMenamins Edgefield Hotel Manager. More
