My wife and I have stayed at Edgefield several times and always enjoy the atmosphere. Our work Holiday Party was above the Power House and was well staffed with friendly employees and the food was excellent (perfectly done salmon and roast beef). The salads, desserts and drinks we're also very good. My favorite spot on the property is the Little... More

We stayed here one night as an after Christmas treat with our daughter and husband. They had been there before and highly recommended it. We'd love to go back in spring or summer and enjoy the evenings outside. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The only downside is the "bathroom down the hallway." But it worked out fine. After... More

We traveled in November from the east coast for a 50th birthday party. We reserved a too with a bathroom not willing to go back to college days sharing a bathroom. We had a large corner room with plenty of space and lots of windows. That being said we spent very little time in our room. This was a great... More

My wife and I celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary here with a two day stay. I booked visa their website and did not know that if I had called it in, I could have reserved a room number of my choice if I had one. I am a member of their "Cosmic Tipster" program, so our first night was free.... More

We stayed here for 3 days in early August for my sister's wedding- what a fantastic place! We had a room with a bathroom in it so no shared bathroom experience. The grounds were beautiful . We had several family members from all over the United Stated who attended the wedding- there were plenty of places to meet (we loved... More

We stayed one night after attending a play in Portland. Everyone in our group wants to return to just stay at the hotel and fully explore the amenities. The whole building is fun to explore, just walking the halls was an adventure. I was happy to watch the glass blowers and buy the flower I watched them create. The Power... More

I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. My friend and I stayed here the first night of our trip and it was amazingly quaint!! The room was very affordable and we loved opening the windows for fresh air. It was also nice to stay somewhere that was enviro-friendly. The only downside was not having our own bathroom, but... What a fabulous place! Winery, brewery, distillery, golf course, spa, movie theater, restaurants, soaking pool, pool hall...with guest rooms in a Georgian revival-style lodge on 74 acres. Good times! We will be back!

Its been months since we have been here but man that soaking pool is so worth the 2 hour drive. Great food good drinks. Its like Disneyland for adults. I can't wait for our next trip. We definitely experienced some very intoxicated people at the pool but it was hilarious.

Our family took up 3 tables for the buffet in one of the outbuildings on the property - room wasn't as nice as the Black Rabbit restaurant we went to last year. Great, friendly service. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. We also enjoyed the salmon. The green beans were not as good. The pork without the applesauce... More
