Its been months since we have been here but man that soaking pool is so worth the 2 hour drive. Great food good drinks. Its like Disneyland for adults. I can't wait for our next trip. We definitely experienced some very intoxicated people at the pool but it was hilarious.

Our family took up 3 tables for the buffet in one of the outbuildings on the property - room wasn't as nice as the Black Rabbit restaurant we went to last year. Great, friendly service. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. We also enjoyed the salmon. The green beans were not as good. The pork without the applesauce... More

Wow! Where do I start?! I've heard great things about this place from a friend who got married here...but we finally got to experience it together for a few nights in November 2014 & she was right - it was AMAZING! :) I stayed in the female hostel/dorm on the 3rd floor. (Warning: there is no elevator to the 3rd... More

This year we did the buffet instead of eating in the restaurant. I thought the buffet food was WAY better. They were extremely helpful in dealing with my daughters food allergies. Service was excellent despite being very busy. I didn't think the atmosphere was as nice as the restaurant. It felt a little like we were at a convention eating... More

My husband and I stayed here for my friend's big birthday party. The rooms were relatively quiet. The bed was comfortable and they had a firmer pillow! I cannot do the down filled pillows (which they had too). We came in a day early specifically because of the soaking pool which is amazing and so relaxing (no kids after 8pm!).... More

We stayed for two nights during Thanksgiving. Everything is there...winery, distillery and brewery. Lots of small, intimate bars. Great farm to table restaurants. They even have their own movie house. Comfortable, quiet rooms. I was a little apprehensive about the shared bathrooms, but was pleasantly surprised. At the both ends of each floor is six separate bathrooms... Two with claw... More

I'm surprised my German wife likes Edgefield as much as me but she really does. The restored Multnomah Co. Poor Farm is impossible to describe but is easy to enjoy its antique ambience and current vibe. Unlike most hotel stays, it is about the hotel. Can not wait to return! Did I mention the food and drink?

Edgefield, just outside of Portland but fills like you have traveled to the country. The ground are beautiful, you can walk from one pub to another and never use your car. The winery has a nice tasting room with live music and old over stuffed chairs feel like home. So grab a glass of good wine and sit awhile. There... More

so much more than a hotel. this has all the fun and flair of a mcmenamins property...or 10. the various restaurants and pubs are good, the rooms are a lot of fun with great atmosphere and views. they are comfortable as well- and the shared bathrooms are better than they sound. the only gripe we had was that it was... Very friendly gal at check in and was able to check in early. McMenamin's are a fun place to stay. Yes, it can be a bit noisy, but it' s "I'm having a good time noise". The soaking pool was wonderful, a must do! If your room doesn't have a bathroom, don't forget your flip flops. We didn't mind the... More
