I have never been a skier, never indulged in winter sports, so driving up mountainous terrain to get to a lodge that caters to primarily a winter sports crowd was a unique experience to me. We stayed here for two nights. Parking was easy. The section at the entrance of the lodge is for guests only. I’m not sure how... More

The setting, the historical significance and the charming rusticity of the lodge and rooms are extraordinary. Eye candy. However, the 2 sets of ear plugs on the desk in the guest rooms is telling of a problem. The walls are about as thin as a tent. You can clearly hear people speaking in normal tones in adjacent rooms. The TV... More

Customer service is far from actual service. I bought two mid-week lift passes online for me and my girlfriend for her birthday, we planned on going 12/30 for my girlfriends birthday but i failed to see that the mid-week passes are not valid from 12/22-1/4. I called the Timberline ticket office to attempt to upgrade the tickets to two any-time... More

Went there for a weekend to celebrate our first year wedding anniversary. Our room was lovely, staff was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. Just one thing, we wanted it to be a romantic experience, so we booked a Romance Champagne package for $40,00 (there is a bottle of champagne waiting for you in the room) We were very... More

We were in Portland for the weekend and decided to run up to the Timberline Lodge for Lunch. Beautiful drive. Still snow up there, the lodge is awesome and fits in with the mountain. The food is a bit expensive, but hey your eating on top of a mountain. The food was very good, the service was excellent. I plan... More

Went here for a Winter Wedding. Beautiful setting! For how old the building is the rooms are great. The bathroom was very nice and somewhat newly renovated. Our wooden window frame in the room looked like it was about ready for replacing though. Our room was quiet, but some of our wedding party had noisy rooms due to the furnace/boiler... More

This was our second trip to Timberline Lodge. What a beautiful setting and a beautiful old lodge. The lodge is 77 years old and is beginning to show its age but still has such charm and beauty. We had a fireplace in our room which provided lots of needed warmth as the temps outside was about 16 and very windy.... More

It is great that a few years ago it was decided not to destroy this artisan master piece but to preserve it for younger generations to see the work of artisans during the depression. It is a warm, welcoming piece of history to stay in and enjoy. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The chef creates a world... More

We stayed at Timberline during the off season so there was very few people around, the ski lifts were closed but wow what a spot! The lodge is beautiful, well kept and staff very nice. We had a corner room thanks to the advice of another TA traveller... GREAT ADVICE!!! Huge room, very little noise and super comfortable. Really happy!... More

Our company went to the lodge for a 2 day offsite meeting. Great stay the room was clean and comfy. Yes it is old and the room was not sound proof, but was fine for sleeping. It snowed 12 inches the day we were there, beautiful. The lodge is really cool, wish we had more time to explore. The food... More
