The Oregon Motor Motel is an old 30's era motel in the Dalles, Oregon..I loved the rooms I've had, the owners have redone many of the rooms very nicely; made them clean and comfortable while keeping the vintage charm. The Patels are very pleasant and do their best to accommodate you and they always have the best rate in town.... More

Old school Motel, since 1947! Definitely dated but in a good reminds you of Route 66 kinda way! Rooms had everything I needed, VERY clean, great WiFi, fridge and micro, decent TV, even a DVD player. The front desk went out of there way, especially given how full they were, to find me a downstairs room with my pet. Nice... More

The price was a little high for the age of the place, but it was reasonably clean. The light in the bath was burned out, as was the light in a floor lamp which I tried to move into the bath so I could see to shower. I doubt that I would stay there again.

This is probably the cheapest you're going to get in the area. We just wanted somewhere to crash for a few hours until we got back on the road. The bed was actually comfortable and the linens felt nice. The whole place could do with a wipe down, but overall felt decently clean and didn't have a smell. The shower... More

For the price, this is a decent value. The room was clean including the nice carpet, with updated / fairly new furnishings. We did not smell the usual musty odor found in other like motels. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean. Bathroom was also clean with good quality bath linens. Staff were friendly and... More

The Motor Inn is not a terrible place. It is a little dated, but rooms were fairly clean, it's in a good location and price was ok. What was terrible were the owners/managers. I have never been treated so poorly by someone in the service industry as these sorry excuses for people.

We found slim pickings for what we wanted to pay just to crash. This place was old, but we did pretty much o.k. on the whole with it. We stayed on the second floor in the front. We did not hear any neighbors. The room had a decent queen size bed, a couch and a desk. We used our own... More

The location and price was right, and we wanted something with a fridge... but it wasn't very pleasant. The rooms were small and a somewhat run-down, and noisy due to the location. Nice water pressure. The TV connection was bad, though if the wires were jiggled just right we could watch the little that was available. My big complaint is... More

This review is actually done on behalf of my son and his family. We were all attending a family wedding and the kids wanted something fairly inexpensive, so I made online reservations because the reviews were so-so, and the price was in their budget. They checked in about 2 p.m. and were able to get into their room. However, the... More

Spent one night at hotel. Weather was terrible and neither Celilo Inn nor Comfort Inn would honor the prices they quoted over the phone (talk about bait and switch). Frustrated and tired, asked local gas attendant for recommendation for cheap motel. This is the cheapest place in town. Location was ok (downtown). Main parking lot was very small and full.... More
