You should consider staying at the Celilo Inn because what's not to like? The rooms are nice, the beds are good, the breakfast is good and you are up on a hill looking down at the Columbia river and the Dalles Dam. We forgot some clothes and the management mailed them to us. The only negative factor to creep in... More

We got the cheapest room. Even others said how small those rooms were I couldn't believe how small they were. It was smaller than any cruise ship cabin and the bathroom was smaller than on cruise ship. It had been remodeled and could hardly turn around in the shower. It had only 1 bedstand so only 1 person had a... More

This property sits on top of the hill outside the Dalles - It overlooks the Dam and has been renovated from the 50's motel it was. It is decored nicely with regional prints in the rooms and modern furnishings - the entry area is also welcoming and has a simple but, adequate breakfast - They offered complimentary wine in the... I stayed at Celilo Inn on August 20th. My single room was very clean and comfortable, and the pool next door looked unusually large and well maintained for a motel pool. Its accessible and visible from the I-84 on the east side of town. There is a continental breakfast that opens at 6 Am. After telling the clerk that we... More

My husband and I stayed at the Celilo Inn on our way to and from the Oregon Coast. The rooms have very comfortable beds, are clean and tastefully decorated. There is an outdoor pool which was refreshing after a day of traveling in the car. The breakfast buffet was great and there is a choice of eating inside or outside... More

Aside from the odd location, this is well modernized motor inn style hotel. The interiors were very nicely done and overall this was a quiet and comfortable hotel in The Dalles. The night auditor was very accommodating and friendly. She had a lot of local knowledge and was helpful in letting us know where to find things in own. I... More

This is a Boutique Hotel/Motel. The rooms are clean and updated. The pool is warm and the staff are all very friendly. Don't let the location or the drive up to the hotel/motel fool you! I find it odd to find such a place out in the Dallas Oregon, but what a neat quite, restful gem. They have live music... More

After being turned off by the offerings of Hood River hotels at the last minute we drove a little further east and found this wonderful little place. We were offered a glass of wine upon arrival and were given the key to a room furnished and decorated as well as any posh, modern hotel we've ever stayed in. The view... More

We enjoyed a night at this property a few days ago and found it very comfortable. An updated, older but clean and well appointed motel, many of the rooms have great views over the Columbia Gorge. Consider a 'king' room if you'd like such a view and sufficient space. The staff were kind and welcoming, providing wine on arrival and... More

We spent one night at the Celilo Inn while passing through The Dalles, and we're glad we did. It's a very nice place, and really like no place else I've stayed. Apparently, in the not-too-distant past this was run-down 1950s motel, that in recent years was completely refurbished to turn it into what it is now. The basic structure still... More
