This motel was smack dab in the middle of being remodeled and what a deal. We were not able to get the rooms we had requested. They accommodated us the best they could. The place smelled of mildew. So, all in all, for the price I suppose it was good enough. I have stayed at better Guesthouses before. This one... More

The general manager greeted us with an eye roll from the beginning. She was not accommodating at all. If you're looking for a roof over your head, then this place will do. But if you have the most minor of request, I suggest you go somewhere else before you get your head chewed off by the general manager.

The room was ok. The bed was good (soft) .the night stand light where not plugged in had to do that. The chairs where a little worn and old. Sorry they looked dirty. The front desk people where very friendly and nice. A bit loud out side in the hall. l would use the hotel again if we need to.

This little motel isn't the Holiday Inn, for sure. If you're looking for that, plan to triple your room cost. But, what this inn has to offer, for a budget- minded priced inn, is just fabulous. We arrived hoping to upgrade to a suite from a standard two queen bed room. We were able to do this at no extra... More

As Guest Houses go, this one is on the lower end of the spectrum. Still adequate rooms, pleasant staff. Right next door to a very good family restaurant. I could not get my laptop connected to their wi-fi. Good price, nice location.

Awful, in the middle of a remodel, this is the OLD Shilo inn. Most uninviting property in the area. Drab at best. Have to cancel 24 hours before stay, otherwise people would cancel in the parking lot, which is full of construction equipment. This Guesthouse is nowhere near the quality of other Guesthouse properties. Left emails with my concerns with... More

Has changed to Guest House International. Slowly improving from the old Shilo Inn. Lobby looks a lot better, gals at front desk dress better and are very helpful. Stormy the manager is on top of things and works hard to keep improving. Our room was clean and had enjoyable stay.

Even though we asked for an updated room we got the updated room with a 20 year old mattress. They had replaced most furnishings and the bath tub was new but why not replace the mattress? No wireless for the first night, no working ice machines, nothing healthy for breakfast, absolutely no interest from the front desk staff regarding the... More

I am sorry to hear of your unhappiness with your stay. We are upgrading but you should of never been led to believe the rooms would be totally upgraded as well. I do apologize for the inconvenience of no internet and also my desk agents lack of caring. I'm not sure as to who the next day's manager was that... More

We have stayed at this property when it was a Shilo Inn and yes it needed alot of work. The hotel changed hands at least once. On our most recent stay I noticed that the hotel now has all new carpet in the halls. There is also new hardwood floors in the lobby/breakfast area and stairwells. While we were there for... More

We stayed here for one night while traveling to a family reunion. My dad made the reservation for us and we all thought it might be better. The hotel used to be a part of the Shilo Inn group, but now is independently owned. The hotel is in much need of renovations. It is outdated and the lobby looked like... More

I am sorry to learn of your unhappy stay. Yes, this hotel was built in the 70's, but we are now under new management and the renovations are starting to be noticeable. Our lobby is almost completed and the key cards are on the way. We are very excited here at the hotel and hope you will stop in again... More
