Our stay at The Lodge at Suttle Lake was August 18, 19, & 20, 2015. We looked forward to celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary and having a special dinner in the Boathouse Restaurant. We had camped and stayed in the area and knew that we loved the setting. We don't expect perfection and have never complained before. Not this time!... More

We drove to the lodge looking to fish. Tami at the front desk was so nice. We were not guests there, but when we asked about fishing for our son, she told us we could fish on the creek on the lodge property. Then when we asked about renting a boat for the next day and she was very helpful.... More

This was our second visit to the lodge. Last year was nice and the staff were helpful. They were not the friendliest but cordial enough. This year was absolutely appalling! The front desk staff were argumentative, defensive and completely rude. Had we not planned the trip a year in advance we would have demanded a full refund and left. There... More

This would receive ZERO circles if that was an option! The Lodge at Suttle Lake is beautiful. We rented one of their "luxury cabins" for $350/per night. We had planned a 3 night vacation there with 2 other sets of families, each family renting our own "luxury" cabin. They offer "rustic" cabins for $100/per night, the differences being there is... Just one night and not enough. Wonderful setting and a gorgeous lodge. We really enjoyed our walk around the lake and sitting outside on the awesome deck enjoing the view and some Atlas cider. It was a great introduction to Oregon.

We greatly enjoyed a long weekend "stay-cation" at the Lodge at Suttle Lake. We stayed in one of the free-standing cabins, and it was perfect for our family of four. Some weather did come through, and we were happy as can be to snuggle in the cabin playing games and enjoying the beautiful cabin. When the weather cleared, we walked... More

We didn't stay at the Lodge, it was closed for the winter. We did kayak the lake. We had to drive around to the west side of the lake and put in at the boat ramp on Forest Service land. Yes, Forest Service passes are needed here. We paddled clockwise around the Lake, it was about a 3.5 mile paddle.... More

This review is 100% about the restaurant...the "Wildflower Kitchen and Grill" in the main lodge sharing its Great Room and stone fireplace. The popular "Boat House Restaurant" is closed because of flooding, with no plans to reopen.; The dinner menu in the lodge is very limited, and when we were there (at 5:30 pm) they were out of two entrees.... Things we loved -- FANTASTIC staff that was helpful and friendly, Room was clean and well kept with a wonderful view of the lake. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. Restaurant menu was adequate and the prices fair. Order their BLT and you will be in bacon heaven and their french fries are superb! The only disappointments... More

I spent Friday and Saturday nights in a rustic cabin--and am so pleased with my entire experience. I don't spend much time indoors when there weather cooperates, so this rustic cabin was perfect as my jumping off point for adventures. Saturday biked the Metolius River bike paths and Sunday, on my way home I hiked to Square Lake in the... More
