This is not only a B&B but offers horse riding, dude ranch style. Dick and Shirley, the owners, explained the history of the house to us. If Ian is there, be sure to engage him about the ranch and its history and as we did on the porch at sunset with a pleasant breeze to take the heat of the... More

The food is restaurant quality and plenty to fill you up. The owners are great people and have a beautiful piece of property. Horse rides and fishing are available. They are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Our visit to Long Hollow Ranch was a wonderful place to rest, ride horses & visit. The breakfasts fabulous, conversations rich. We love Dick, Shirley, Bruce, Sally, Katie & horses. Katie, wrangler/quide, took us riding up on the plateau above the ranch where we viewed mountains & peaks that Oregon is famous for.( Note it has to be a clear... More

Prime property. Main house for rooms is a classic older two story ranch home that has been extensively updated and upgraded. Owners stay in another house a few hundred feet away. There is a detached cabin for larger groups but we did not see the inside. Wonderful deck. Professional kitchen. Dining room, sitting room with piano. Everything was beautiful (Ranch/Cowboy... More

We visited in March and found the ranch to be uninhabited - by people and horses. Trail rides need to be arranged in advance, and because we had not done so, we couldn't do a ride. The ranch dog barked through the night and nipped at my 5 year old son's ankles whenever he left the cabin. The perk was... More

We were so looking forward to 10 days of heaven at Long Hollow....on our way down, Dale ended up in an Idaho hospital with kidney stones. We were lucky to be able to continue on to Long Hollow and what an amazing time. Our first visit in April was very quiet, but things were happening in September! We were able... More

Only stayed 1 night as we were short on time but we loved our stay. It was a beautiful ranch house which was as gorgeous on the inside as it was on the outside. Our room was massive! Beautiful bed and country style bathroom. Very comfortable! The shower pressure was great. Breakfast was delicious! Fresh and healthy. We loved the... More

My friend Amy and I loved this ranch, good food (all the coffee I wanted ☻), comfortable beds, and a bathroom in our own room (rare for a B&B, I think)! Loved the puppy Bandit (sweet)! Also the view is great! We will be back!

The hosts, Dick and Shirley were excellent company for my week at the ranch. I felt as if I were visiting old friends or relatives. Katie, the wrangler was an excellent riding instructor. I came to the ranch with very little riding experience, none for the last 40 years, and her patience with me was much appreciated. The scenery on... More

My daughter (age 10) and I had a girls weekend. Katie was amazing in assisting us city folks with our horses on the trail. Very knowlegeable and supportive. Dick and Shirley were terrific hosts, very accomodating. We are vegetarians and the food was delicious, lunch and dinner also available for a reasonable price. Enjoyed a homecooked meal at the end...
