I needed a last minute place to stay in Shady Cove, Oregon and was so pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of my experience there I just had to go online and let everyone out there looking know about it! I was surprised by how kind and attentive the owners were and even more surprised once I opened the door... More

I recently traveled to Southern Oregon to visit family. I stayed at the Maple Leaf Motel in Shady Cove. Although it looks like n older place, it's comes with something that is hard to find these days! The owners were out of their way nice. I enjoyed their hospitality the moment I arrived. The room was clean and I enjoyed... More

This hotel was the midpoint between the Jedediah Smith Redwood National Forest and Crater Lake. I have never been a fan of motels before, but this place was absolutely immaculate. The family that ran it was very friendly and extremely accommodating. My wife, daughter and I had just driven from the Redwoods and were heading to Crater Lake when we... More

Clean, quiet and very comfortable stay on the way to Crater Lake! Nicely updated and appointed rooms, comfy bed, friendly owner. Would definitely stay here again if in area. Great value for the money. Good restaurants nearby.

We chose the Maple Leaf Motel for a last-minute trip to Crater Lake based on Trip Advisor reviews. As they all say, the outside appearance of this small, older, roadside motel doesn't give a fair indication of the clean, well-kept rooms with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, decent A/C unit, and eco-toiletries. Water pressure in the shower was just okay, and it... More

A great value. Clean, large room, comfy bed. We appreciated the small in-room fridge and microwave. We were given a room on the second floor at the back of the wing, so it was very quiet. Recommended.

Very nice managers, reasonable rates, very clean and up to date furnishings. Cute little town to stay in. Caters to outdoor activities such as rafting and fishing, or just folks passing through. Good restaurant almost across the street within walking distance, for lunches or dinners. Or if you want breakfast, drive to the other end of this small town to... More

Top to bottom this place was great. The price was great for the amenities that you get with this motel. The ac is great, it keeps the room very cool. The staff here is incredibly friendly and when we checked in we realized our unit was on the second floor between two units, I asked the staff for anything better... More

Older property but was as advertised. Don't equate economical with cheap. The room was small but clean and very nicely decorated. Nothing fancy but had all the amenities. Microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV, coffee maker, blow dryer, etc. The A/C was a window unit that was quiet and blew cool air but we brought and used our own small oscillating... More

Nice, clean motel. Shady Cove is an ideal place to stay after visiting Crater Lake. The friendly folks at the Maple Leaf made us feel welcome, and gave us an excellent dining recommendation. The area has lots of outdoor activities, Rogue River rafting, etc.
