Great waiters and service. Appreciated menu options and flexibility of foods for veggies. Will come back again on our next vacation. more

Hotel needs a really good scrubbing and repairs. Overdue for a remodel to bring up to standard. Location is perfect and staff are super. Overpriced given the issues. more

The food is horrendous and outrageously expensive.. service is slower than frozen molasses and if you THINK they really mean wireless internet connection THINK AGAIN... Room was OK, very overpriced... a total waste of money... I wouldn't stay at another Shilo if it was free... much prefer a tent over this overpriced mess. more

Would like to compliment Catherine who works in the restaurant/lounge, she was great. Traveling were myself, daughter, grand daughter, and great grand daughter from Alaska. She was so nice and and helpful, gave information on things to see and places to stop. The service she gave was great, she was accomdating beyond what her job called for. When raise time... more

This was our first visit to Seaside, much less Oregon. This hotel has a great oceanfront location at the corner of the Promenade and the main drag. Front desk lady was very cordial. We got a greatly reduced price on a north facing room, which had a partial view of the beach. The pool and whirlpool were first rate. There... more

Stayed for 3 nights here and enjoyed our stay very much. Location excellent for doing many things and not having to drive to do them. Also great place to stay with kids. Rooms were spacious. Pool was clean and warm. Felt safe being close to the lobby and pool was open 24hrs. Restaurant looks out to the ocean and the... more

We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly greeting and assistance we received upon our arrival. We cannot say enough "good things" about all of the staff we came into contact with during our four day stay. Even the gentleman who drove the shuttle car was great. Karen Monroe was especially helpfull. Our room was very adequite - with coffee maker,... more

I love the location of this hotel. The location is as perfect as it gets in Seaside location wise. Very nice restaurant with a great view. The staff were exceptionally nice. Very nice maids and waitresses and lady manager. The front desk person was not very cordial at all. This hotel needs an update and a good cleaning in the... more

My husband was on leave from Iraq, so we decided to take a trip to Seaside and stay at the Shilo. We'd never stayed there before, but the location was unbeatable. Our room was on the 4th floor with a perfect ocean view. We had a King Executive Suite, which included a King bed with a living space and full... more

The only things I loved about this hotel was the location and the restaurant. They were both great! But the rooms need some SERIOUS updating!! The room we stayed in was supposed to be one of their best rooms and was very expensive, so I was very excited to be staying there, thinking that the room would be awesome. It... more
