The hotel was in a great location -- right on the promenade, right on the beach, and approx. 3 blocks to Broadway where the shopping is. Not too far from the outlet stores. I stayed in a 5th floor oceanfront room and was impressed, especially after reading all the negative reviews here. The balcony had great views, and the pillowtop mattress was one of the best I have slept on in a hotel. Stayed in this hotel mid week (Wed-Fri) to go to a business conference at the Conference Center. The room was $71 a night for the Single Queen Economy Room, a price gotten through the conference itself. It was the TINIEST hotel room I've ever stayed in! Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel and Seaside. I can tell you that the room you booked is advertised as an "economy, non-view room" that sleeps two people. Very often, cost conscious guests who book that room type arrive with 3-4 guests and expect an ocean front room with balcony, and views of the ocean. We...
Oh, dear. Here I was on a 911 conference, the very first one to book my room within the room block for our conference,- Promised an ocean view room, and guess what? They moved me! View?
