Discovered this hotel last year when we came for a weekend and loved the fireplace kitchenette and balcony (oceanfront view). We liked the convenience (walking) to downtown and the beach front promenade..... so when we decided to do a longer vacation this year we came to the hotel and stayed a month. The hotel is clean, the location is great,... more

Our Portland friends booked the room for us and drove us to the coast on the first day of our vacation. I loved the room! It reminded me of when I was a kid. Yes, it was dated, but it had all the amenities. Including a refrigerator to stow the seasoning for the clam chowder kit I got at Doogies,... more

I've now stayed at Hi-tide motel in Seaside 6 - 8 times over the last few years. Obviously we love it, or we wouldn't return multiple times. Here's why -- first, they have a indoor pool and hot tub - which is always kept clean and open early in the morning until late at night. Our family loves that summer... more

This is our third trip to this hotel! The first time we stayed here they were the LAST room in town -- well except for the disgusting hotel we had just left because what we were given for a room wasn't the least bit what we asked for or should be safely stayed in. The front desk personnel were very... more

This hotel has the BEST staff ANYBODY could ask for!!!! Right when I walked into the office to check in I was welcomed and they made me very comfortale. The setting in the office is very warm and homey. The rooms are absolutly fantastic! Very clean, lots of room, has a mini kitchen and has a beautiful balcony that overlooks... more

We have stayed in many hotels on Oregon coast past 20 years and can state Hi-Ttide is our favorite, good location with boardwalk and beaches in front, plenty of parking, reliable elevator. Very pleasant check-in and cookies/coffee waiting. Rooms are spacious and very clean, housekeeping tops. Really great pricing deals during week and off-season, check coupon book for 2 nights... more

The location is wonderful. All rooms have beach views with patios. Easy beach access. It is just a block from the main "drag" for the tourists. However, the hotel furniture is worn, very dated, and in dire need of a remodel. There is a kitchenette, and a grocery store about a mile away. Overall the hotel was clean. Beware there... more

Our reservation was accepted by a very polite and efficient front desk clerk. Having read the reviews on Trip Advisor, I expected the rooms to be a bit out of date--and it didn't disappoint. A sea of woodtone vinyl greeted us when we opened the door to our room. The bathroom was similarly outdated, with yellow fixtures. However, the main... more

I called the Hi-Tide "Resort" on Thursday, Aug. 7th trying to find a room for Friday night (I wanted to propose to my girlfriend at sunset and this was about the 10th place I had called) and to my surprise they had a room and after specifically asking the person I spoke with if there was a minimum stay, I... more

We stayed at the Hi-Tide for three nights and our review is a real mix of pros and cons. Parking was always easy and convenient. The hotel is located right next to the Prom. There is a very convenient little pathway with steps from the Prom down to the sand right next to the hotel, which was really nice. The... more
