This is a great value hostel with private rooms and dorms. I think for the price of a bed, it should include a towel which presently is .50 for the towel rental. Let's get some toilet paper stocked in the bathrooms too! i managed to scrounge 3 almost finished rolls until someone restocked. Bathmats would be nice too. The bathroom... More

So we specifically picked this place because you can rent kayaks, and catch crabs on the bridge right around the corner. The staff and owner were very friendly. We stayed here at the beginning of September while it is still pretty warm. The rooms and beds were fine, and the kitchen has everything you need. The whole place feels very... More

Stayed there 4 nights in late Sept. 2014. The staff was friendly, bed comfortable, bathroom clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and had 2 gas stoves. The morning offering of 'free' pancakes and eggs was really very nice. It's not that we weren't comfortable, but all the surfaces in the common rooms were sticky and not-so-clean. A mouse was seen darting... More

This hostel is outside the Hostelling International network. Some would. Prefer it. Some would not. First, it is not pristine, but not filthy. The location is not great, but not terrible. The best part is that the owner is involved and cares about your experience. I did not find our room to be pleasant. Small personal touches could correct that.... More

We just spent 4 days, 3 nights here. We are not fancy at all when it comes to hotels, we are more on the warrior side of traveling, so for us it was great. For the price of $273 for a family of four, including use of kitchen, fridge, free breakfast, laundry, bonfire at night and a decent, clean room... More

The first thing that it is important to note about the Seaside International Hostel is that, at $33/night, it costs about a quarter as much as any other summer lodging option on the north coast. The deal is just incredible. I found them through AirBNB and was lured in by the low, last-minute rate. The Necanicum River is right out... More

I stayed in a private room in September with my friend. The room has a king bed and a bunk bed. The room was cramped and was damp and smelled like mold. The shades were broken but we woke up early so the sun didn't bother us. The room was very neglected. The location was great walking distance to town... More

I stayed at this hostel just a few blocks from the ocean for 4 nights. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was traveling alone and stayed in the girls bunk room. Everything was clean and organized. There is a music room with instruments and books to read. Every night they have a bonfire for the guests. Everyone is... More

You must understand this is not the Shilo or Holiday inn. This is a Hostel that offers dorms and private rooms. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The Seaside Lodge and Hostel offers a very nice hostel environment with additional amities. There is a chill room/music room where you can play a piano, guitar, bongos or an organ. There... More

Stayed in the men's bunkroom in summer - no lockers for valuables, musty w poor ventilation, low ceiling, crammed with bunks. Unlike the adjacent motel-style 'wing' with the private rooms, the bunkroom is in what appears to be a converted residence with low ceilings, narrow hallways, thin doors and no sound insulation. The one-person bathroom is adjacent to the bunkroom,... More
