From my very first phone call the staff was amazing. I use "staff" loosely as Ruth treated everyone as if they were family. She was there to help with anything we needed. There are a few small bungalow style beach houses with a courtyard and a beautiful house to rent next door. Lawn games, a sauna, jetted tubs, beach blankets... More

We stayed here for one night in August. The hotel doesn't look that much from the outside.. who cares? The room was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect. 1 block to the beach, a few blocks into the main town. We stayed in the small room with no shower. We knew what it was... More

Well, went to seaside for the day and decided to try to find a room. Found one here at Hillcrest Inn. Don't let the exterior scare you away. It's a comfy and CLEAN hotel. But, it's Ruth that makes you want to stay. My goodness where can we clone more of Ruth in our world! Come here. You won't be... More

This family-oriented hotel was very reasonable in price and well located. It was just a short walk to the beach and a nice walkway along the beach. The hotel owners are very helpful and friendly. The one suggestion that we have (and we wrote this on the comment card) was to leave more bars of soap in the hotel room--by... More

This place was wonderful! My husband and I decided to take a trip down the coast and came across this place to stay for the night. It was close to the ocean, close to everything downtown, the room we stayed in was wonderful and clean, and the best part was the wonderful hospitality from the owners! Ruth took care of... More

Hands down, this is the best hotel we've ever stayed in. The room is immaculate, the grounds are beautifully maintained, downtown Seaside and the beach are a mere minutes' walk, and the owners are the most lovely people you'll ever meet! We went to the beach for the evening, and the owner, Ruth, brought us a blanket to take with... More

We are budget-wise travelers and stayed at the Hillcrest Inn on a recent trip to the Oregon Coast. It was a wonderful place to stay. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Plus, Ruth (the owner) was extremely helpful in recommending things to do and places to eat. We would definitely stay at the Hillcrest again.

Was apprehensive about what I would find at the 2 bedroom cottage we rented - the photo showed a smallish room with old style tv, but it would serve our needs and give us more space than a 2 queen bed room which is the standard offering. Was AMAZED at the cute, roomy cottage and it's comfort and cleanliness~~~~ and... More

We stayed here for three nights while on a motorcycle trip and just loved the place. We did chose one of the small rooms but it had everything we needed and it was nice. The staff was just wonderful to us, if you needed anything for your stay they would help you out. They have a great location for walking... More

This is a very clean hotel, that has an inviting atmosphere. Our room was a queen, with a large whirlpool tub, and a gas fireplace. We also had coffeemaker, microwave, and fridge. There were plenty of towels, and really nice personal items such as shampoo, conditioner, etc. The bed was quite comfy, and there were extra pillows. Our room was... More
