We booked the "Sweet Retreat" room for an incredible $55. It was a tiny, but perfect, two room suite on the second floor over the owner's unit. Clean, comfortable and very quiet. The complaints of noise noted in some of the reviews here were not a problem for us at all. It is just far enough from the main street... more

Just came back from vacation and we spent one night at Hillcrest Inn. The room was CLEAN if somewhat dated. The manager (Donna) was very nice and helpful, in fact, provided my husband with a glass of milk before bed so he wouldn't have to go find a convenience store at 10:00PM. She also recommended a great place for breakfast.... more

The Hillcrest Inn is a hidden gem on the Oregon Coast, The Managers Neville & Donna, Jay, along with the other Staff are very gracious, accommodating and have the best customer service that has been our fortune to receive in a very long time! The rooms are clean, well appointed, comfortable . The facilities and the grounds are very well... more

This is a small, older hotel in a great location, just a block from the beach. We chose it because it was affordable and had several family-size rooms. We were disappointed in the room -- it smelled slightly musty, and the beds were uncomfortable. The bedding was dated, the chairs were old, and the room just really needed an update.... more

In my humble opinion, you are making a highly unwise decision if you pass this great little inn up. EVERYONE was as friendly as you could want, and offered help with the (many) questions that we had. If they allowed pets this would no doubt be our go to place to stay in Seaside. And, they are not kidding about... more

Seaside is kind of a broken down (ok, "quaint"!) little town, so I knew for the price we were paying it wouldn't be a four-star hotel. The location was great; not quite on the beach, but only a block away. The staff was awesome... very helpful, accommodating, friendly, etc. You can tell they really care about the place, the guests,... more

Jay was wonderful! He was so helpful and friendly. He suggested places to take my family & we had a wonderful experience at Seaside & antique shopping in Astoria. The rooms we booked were very clean & in great shape. The gals that cleaned the room Tamara & Kathy did a great job. For $69. we were very impressed. Excellent... more

This property is definitely not the top rated place to stay. The first room smelled of smoke, and they changed rooms for us. The second room did not smell of smoke, but was well used, with a gap in front door when closed, that you could see out of. The internet wireless connect could not be made, and the only... more

We were surprised to receive a lovely unit for such a low price. Jay at the front desk insisted we view it first -- he must have known we would like it. Great location near the beach, restaurants and shops. It was clean, spacious and comfortable, as well as quiet. The free high speed wireless internet service was quite fast.... more
