Just came back from vacation and we spent one night at Hillcrest Inn. The room was CLEAN if somewhat dated. The manager (Donna) was very nice and helpful, in fact, provided my husband with a glass of milk before bed so he wouldn't have to go find a convenience store at 10:00PM. This is a small, older hotel in a great location, just a block from the beach. We chose it because it was affordable and had several family-size rooms. We were disappointed in the room -- it smelled slightly musty, and the beds were uncomfortable. The bedding was dated, the chairs were old, and the room just really needed an update.... more

We were surprised to receive a lovely unit for such a low price. Jay at the front desk insisted we view it first -- he must have known we would like it.
