We found this to be a very well maintained, quiet campground with excellent facilities. An ideal base for a visit to the northern Oregon coast. An especially nice feature of this campground is that is dark at night. No annoying street lights shining in bedroom windows and skylights and you can see the stars at night!

When I purchased a new RV in 2013 I received a one year zone camping pass to the 1000 Trails Preserves. It's important I say that and follow up with this is not a purchase I would make on my own. I have visited several 1000 Trails "preserves" for free. And I appreciate the one year membership. However, I have... More

We are thousand trails members but our membership doesn't include free cabins. We did get a small discount. This is our first shot at a cabin. It has bedding that is cleaned and if you want to use it there is a fee. We just brought our own towels and sleeping bags. The bed setup is about a queen size... More

We are 1000 Trails members but had never been to Seaside. The campground was very nice, well maintained with clean bathrooms. The indoor pool was a nice touch due to the cool Pacific temperatures. Unfortunately for us, over-ridden with children, but great if you have kids (although if I were there with kids I would be out cycling or walking... More

Let's see... the kiddie pool was closed for some repair, the felt on the pool table was ripped to shreds, the basket balls were flat, the big pool was so cold that we were shivering and the clubhouse has a great selection of...(wait for it...) VCR tapes. NEVER AGAIN.

Overpriced, not friendly customer service, you have to rent fire pits and you can't park next to where you're camping. We tried to rent a firepit at 8:50pm since we were busy all day and they said "nope, too late." Even though the office supposedly doesn't close until 10pm and you have to wheel the pit down to your camp... More

We are Thousand Trails members. This park is located in a treed quiet area. Some of the sites are very nice. It looks like this is a very popular park in the summer. The family area looked nice enough with a pool and tennis courts. The staff was nice and we didn't have any issues. Oregon law requires that your... More

No cable tv dispite stating such on website; no wifi. Property has not been upgraded in 20 years yet has a nightly price tag of a high end RV park resort. Stayed the previous night at a very nice RV park and only paid $40 for a large site including cable tv, free wifi and well kept grounds. This RV... More

It was so expensive a night to stay here! $67 a night! and you don't even get a firepit included with this price. You have to rent their dented up above the ground firepits on a nightly fee! You do not get cable or interet with this either. We tried to use the pool one time, but it was adult... More

We stayed in a tent on July 13th. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back. You are not assigned a tent area and can pick any spot in the area reserved for tent camping with a max of 2 tents and 6 people. We chose a nice spot by the lake (see photo titled "tent camping... More
