I have traveled extensively on both business and leisure, and only recently began writing travel reviews to help my fellow travelers. I can honestly say this is among the worst places I have stayed for this price. For the couple hundred dollars cost, I really expected much better! From driving into a small alley to find the entrance, then finding... More

We stayed here because it was on the beach and price was right. I had read a few reviews about the hotel door locks having issues. I thought it may have been an isolated issue but it wasn't. We had a hard time getting in our room because the lock didn't work. The morning of our departure, we got stuck... More

Right on the Promenade, this inn is quiet and pleasant. It is not, however, the kind of place that will wow you and make you plan your return (though I would come back). It offers quiet accommodations, though some of the furnishings were a bit worn and nicked. There is no real area to sit outside enjoy the sea breeze,... More

For the price I expected to be wowed. We were in the clock tower. Typical room nothing spectacular. They could of put a piece of furniture in the room to place the coffee pot on other than the mini fridge on the floor. Had to get down on knees to make a cup of coffee. No microwave no continental breakfast.... More

We had made reservations 2 weeks in advance due to the photos on the web. Boy! what a disappointment. We showed up-only 3 parking spots on the property. There was a parking lot accross the street behind the hotel. Try that with lots of luggage and no cart to help!?! You have to find your way through an alley to... More

While the view from the Beachcomer room was excellent and the staff friendly, the room was very tight due to shower and jacuzzi tub right in the room. There was no place/closet to hang clothes..the staff had to bring in a 3pronged hanger for the back of the toilet door. The coffee machine didn't work and had to be replaced.... More

We got upgraded to the clocktower room, which was awesome. Amazing view, and perfect for traveling with kids because there's a loft they can sleep in. Some of the features are a bit worn, I think an upgrade in bathrooms, towels and carpets could make a big difference. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The restaurant downstairs is decent, and has... More

Spectacular views from our oceanfront room the shellseeker on the 2nd floor. We stayed for 2 nights and had breakfast and dinner in their restaurant, Maggies on The Prom. They are right on the promenade so no restrictions in watching the waves, etc. Service was excellent except for the young fellow checking us in said we owed him "x" number... More

Spectacular oceanfront view from the Northwest Timber room. Friendly service at front desk and in restaurant. Rooms are clean but a little tired, and can use a freshening. Great walking path in front, near Prom and restaurants/gift shops. Short drive to Astoria and Cannon Beach.
