after spending over $400 for a 3 night camping trip "package" I was quite disappointed when I kept pulling out cash and my debit card throughout the trip for all the extras that weren't included. We did not stay in yurt or cabin...this was tent camping folks. we were right next to porta potties so the door slamming was all... More

We have been to Camp Dakota many times over the last few years. We really enjoy the camping and activities. My husband and teenage son absolutely love paintball! They have brought many friends over the past few years both adults and teenagers, everyone always has a blast! The rock wall ROCKS!! Our daughter loves the rock wall! She was finally... More

We stayed at Camp Dakota a couple of years ago in a yurt, and were going to stay again tonight. When we last stayed, we were unhappy to discover, albeit quite lucky, that the "chimney" in our yurt was leaking smoke into the cabin. If wood is the only source of heat, in a 20 foot yurt, it seems kind... More

We visited Camp Dakota this weekend to see if we would be interested in staying there with the kids. The campground and ALL the facilities were very poorly maintained. I realize this is a campground and have staying a lot in campgrounds but this was very unsanitary. The Porta pots were disgusting it was only 2:00 in the afternoon so... More

Wow. What can I say but WOW! I am so sorry that the camp was not what you were expecting. One of the many compliments that we receive from our guests is how clean and well maintained we keep our camp. The date you indicated that you visited is Labor Day Weekend and 100% sites in the campground were full... More

Great campground! Friendly staff, clean campsites, clean facilities. We had a tent site that was roomy enough for two tents and still room for hanging by the fire. They even have trailer sites and hurts. Amazingly clean for a dirt road campground, even the porta toilets were clean. Fun activities for all skill levels and age groups.

We visting June 7th - 9th and stayed in the 6 person Yurt. Having the BBQ was awesome and the weather was goregous during the day. We had our traditional camp fire in the evening and then moved into to have a fire in the woodstove. Camp ground was clean and well kept and all activities were great. Paintball, zip... More

Camp Dakota is so fun! We come here twice a year for our friends birthday and during Halloween for the Halloween event. We always come in a big group of at least 10 people. You can rent a Teepee, a Yurt, a RV site or a Tent site. We love the Yurts! In the Yurts they are all different ,the... More

We just got home from our trip to Camp Dakota and can't wait to go again. We stayed in one of the small yurts and loved the convenience of the site. The zip lines and high rope challenges were great. We spent a lot of time treasure hunting with the metal detectors and got a lot of old coins to... More

We ended up camping here for one night after a nearby state park we hoped to stay at turned out to be full for the night. We didn't know when we booked that it was an adventure park, but this wasn't an issue. Camp Dakota is located well off the beaten path, on a windy road with several farms. Our... More
