Fabulous log B&B Lodge. As you walk in the front door the first thing you will see is the indoor koi pond and then the view of the rivers out the back two story wall of windows. One of my favorite spots was to sit in the chairs looking at the woods and rivers. We originally planned to stay here... More

Staying at Sandy Salmon showed us once again why we stay at B&B's . The moment you drive through the gates you are greeted with one of the most unique B&B's ever. The grounds are so beautiful where the two rivers join together . It's a park like setting. Upon entering you will have a hard time knowing what to... More

Having stayed in many USA B&B's over the years, plus more around the world, Sandy Salmon is the cleanest, neatest, best organized, and most comfortable I've ever seen. The Emmerts (your hosts and owner/operator) just enhance the physical facility with their support and congeniality. The location above the confluence of the Sandy and Salmon rivers is very special. We look... More

We only stayed a night here, unfortunately. The host and hostess are truly warm people. We were tired and uncommunicative, they read our mood and left us alone. Next morning the breakfast was awe inspiring, and our hosts were chatty and comfortable. The decoration is memorable, detailed, and almost too much (but not quite); there seems to be a story... More

I stumbled upon this treasure late at night and would've completely missed it had they not had the open sign on. Lucky for me, I discovered my dream hand crafted log retreat, filled with a lifetime of hunting trophies and family treasures. The two story living room windows put you in the outdoors, virtually on the two rivers, but surrounded... More

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night at the Sandy Salmon B&B. It was so peaceful and beautiful. If we hadn't had a wedding to get to, we would have stayed longer. Even the driveway into the lodge was magical with huge pines all around. It ended up in an ample parking lot which was a great... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sandy Salmon for two nights. This is really a very nice place! Our room overlooked the river and the view is just great! The entire house was decorated in a high quality and good taste. You can tell how much effort the owner put in there. Everything is cozy clean and homy. The breakfast... More

I found this lodge on the 'net' and we've waited over a year to stay here. We were delighted to visit with Jerry and Maggie about their construction as well as experience staying in the most grand log home. Details abound everywhere you look. They have gone to great lengths to provide the most wonderful surroundings, making our stay delicious... More

We have stayed at a number of 5 star resorts and few, if any, have compared to the beauty and serenity of this bed and breakfast. Not only is it a beautifully appointed lodge, the river setting and proximity to Mount Hood make it an ideal getaway any time of year. Your hosts, Jerry and Maggie will have you feel... More

Sandy Salmon would be the most wonderfully crafted home I have ever seen - with fantastic use of timber and glass, that takes advantage of the wonderful views of the Sandy and Salmon rivers and the mountains, and finished to an extremely high standard. Our hosts really went out of their way to make us comfortable and make us feel... More
