This is a beautiful hand-made paid-attention-to-detail lodge! We stayed in the "Fishing Hole" room which, in our opinion, is the best room. The balcony directly overlooks the confluence of the Sandy and Salmon rivers better than any other room. Pictures cannot describe the ambiance and beauty of the room, the lodge and the surroundings. The attention to every detail is... More

After a long day driving from Hood River to Mt. Hood, eating lunch at the Timberline Lodge, and fighting strong cold winds & rain, we were delighted to enter the gorgeous property of the Sandy Salmon B&B. We were cheerfully greeted at the door by Maggie, who took us on a tour, then showed us our room, the Eagles Nest.... More

If B&B's are your thing, this is one place not to miss. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was tasty ~ coffee excellent. Maggie and Jerry will do everything possible to make your visit an enjoyable one.

Wonderful B&B located over top the confluence of the Sandy and Salmon Rivers. Maggie and Jerry were wonderful hosts and welcomed us into to there beautifully decorated lodge. An outdoorsman's paradise. A wonderfully prepared three course breakfast each morning (nice job Maggie). Enjoyed pleasant conversation during breakfast. The hosts know the area very well and can offer lots of advice... More

Lovely to sit on the balcony overlooking the ravine and the confluence of the Salmon and Sandy rivers. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. The hosts were quite gracious. Although close to the road the tranquility of the surroundings made for a peaceful two night visit.

This B&B is unique. I love the B&B concept in general for a variety of reasons. The house was built specifically to be utilized as a guesthouse and its design is perfect. Where do I begin. The second floor is amazing. It's comfortable, cozy and warm. The fireplace is fantastic, perfect for cold mountain evenings. The custom pool table is... More

It was okay, but wouldn't stay there again. The service and room were not worth the money. The service was poor, the room itself was okay. The bed wasn't very comfortable, it needs a new mattress or at least a topper.

Please note- mountain areas often have limited all-phone service areas, which can affect the reception received, dependent on the individual service provider. Currently our establishment is in the process of upgrading our WiFi service within our accommodation. Our business purchased Brand New Mattress from a reputable dealer and do have pillow toppers in place. We strive to provide an enjoyable... More

Sandy Salmon was set in an extremely convenient location right off the interstate. However, do not let it's location fool you! The lodge itself is beautiful with an even better view of the river from the outside deck or your very own balcony! It was a pleasant surprise, and the couple who lives/operates the inn were very accommodating. They even... More

Very convenient location, off the beaten path, but close enough to the hwy. Two doors down from a great reasonable restaurant, but very accommodating where food and snacks are concerned. Grest service, clean and very comfortable, personable. Definately 5 star!!!

Bed : 5 stars Breakfast : 3 stars This is one of a very well done B&B. The place is beautiful with a great taste of craftsmanship and taxidermy (only if you are not an animal right advocate ). Our bedroom faced the river which was very pleasant to enjoy. The only reason I did not give it 5 starts... More
