Booked this B&B at the last minute. Maybe it was available because it is a bit expensive, but from our perspective well worth every penny. Spectacularly large home with 4 unique guest rooms. Filled with hunting trophies collected over a life time by Jerry. Friendly inn keepers who provide everything. The location, while right on a highway is quiet. The... More

We booked this B&B on a trip to Mt. Hood Area to visit our son. It is absolutely gorgeous! Breakfasts were delightful, especially when we were able to enjoy them on the deck, which overlooks the confluence of the Sandy and Salmon Rivers. We found the owners to be personable and friendly and seemed to enjoy interacting with guests. As... More

Sandy Salmon Bed and Breakfast was an oasis at the end of a hot, long bike ride. It is a large, beautiful, quiet mountain lodge hand-crafted by Jerry and Maggie and sits at the convergence of the Sandy and Salmon rivers. It has to be seen to be believed. The craftsmanship and features are jaw-dropping. Their commitment to guest comfort... More

A simply wonderful B and B. Idyllic location at the confluence of the Sandy and Salmon rivers; wildlife galore. The house is amazing - the ultimate B and B design with four guest rooms and two large common areas in addition to the living and breakfast areas. Our room, the "Fishing Hole," was small but had a balcony with a... More

My daughter and I stayed here last night. The house is amazing! It is built and decorated perfectly, and it overlooks two rivers. It is on a busy highway but the rivers and the indoor koi pond hide the traffic noise. We stayed in the fishing hole. It had a balcony overlooking the rivers. The bathroom was basic. We walked... This is a beautiful hand-made paid-attention-to-detail lodge! We stayed in the "Fishing Hole" room which, in our opinion, is the best room. The balcony directly overlooks the confluence of the Sandy and Salmon rivers better than any other room. Pictures cannot describe the ambiance and beauty of the room, the lodge and the surroundings. The attention to every detail is... More

After a long day driving from Hood River to Mt. Hood, eating lunch at the Timberline Lodge, and fighting strong cold winds & rain, we were delighted to enter the gorgeous property of the Sandy Salmon B&B. We were cheerfully greeted at the door by Maggie, who took us on a tour, then showed us our room, the Eagles Nest.... More

If B&B's are your thing, this is one place not to miss. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was tasty ~ coffee excellent. Maggie and Jerry will do everything possible to make your visit an enjoyable one.

Wonderful B&B located over top the confluence of the Sandy and Salmon Rivers. Maggie and Jerry were wonderful hosts and welcomed us into to there beautifully decorated lodge. An outdoorsman's paradise. A wonderfully prepared three course breakfast each morning (nice job Maggie). Enjoyed pleasant conversation during breakfast. The hosts know the area very well and can offer lots of advice... More

Lovely to sit on the balcony overlooking the ravine and the confluence of the Salmon and Sandy rivers. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. The hosts were quite gracious. Although close to the road the tranquility of the surroundings made for a peaceful two night visit.
