Best hotel on our trip to OR. Nice rooms, great front desk service. Location was nowhere super close to food and entertainment (I was on a knee scooter) but we had pizza delivered. Great hotel and would stay again.

Dear Yvette, Thank you for the review of our hotel. I hope your reason for needing the knee scooter is getting better. I'm sorry we didn't help you find one of the 5-6 outstanding restaurants, including our own Bentley's Grill within 2 blocks of us. Obviously using a scooter can may any distance seem daunting. Please try us again when... More

As expected our stay was grand. The only change I would make is asking for a room anywhere but over State St...too much street noise with cars racing up street. Room was spacious & clean. Breakfast was good with variety.

OK so this is a hotel built on the site of the original Grand Hotel. IT is NOT a remodeled funky old hotel. It was cheaply built. The windows allow ALL of the street noise into your room and you can't get a room not on the street. IT is rather drab. The bathroom became "grand" by throwing a lot... More

We chose THE GRAND HOTEL in SALEM-for our 36th anniversary getaway-based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. I received a call a few days prior to our arrival to confirm our reservation. Very impressive. I mentioned in passing that we were looking forward to celebrating our 36th anniversary.Additionally, I received an email confirming as well as welcoming us in... More

My husband and I spent one night here enroute from Ashland to Portland and it served our needs well. The hotel staff is friendly and the hotel lobby is suitably grand to fit the hotel name. The room was fine, very comfortable and clean with nice bedding and all the amenities you need but the decor was rather drab and... More

I chose The Grand Hotel in Salem over other properties in the area because of its proximity to colleges in the Salem/Portland area. My mother, daughter and I used The Grand as our home base while checking out Willamette, Reed College and Pacific University. I made reservations by phone, and received the 'Willamette' rate by asking for it. When we... More

Great location within walking distance of nearly everything in downtown Salem. Nice rooms, decent rates, professional service. Walking distance to several very nice restaurants and night life locations.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. The hotel was generally clean and has a great bar/restaurant.there are two problems with this Hotel. The first of those would be Tyler. The front desk supervisor. He made our groups check in process a nightmare. Even though it was a corporate booking he was insisting we all put the total amount for both nights... More

We rented two rooms at the Salem Oregon Grand Hotel the end of July to attend a family wedding. The room I stayed in was a King Suite and I have absolutely no complaints about the room itself. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed with the exception of enough towels. We ate several meals at... More
