The Residence Inn Salem, was a very pleasant place to stay and one of the nicest experiences I have had at a hotel in years. I stayed at this hotel in march of '08 on may way to the coast, it was just a nice stop off point along the way. Upon entering the Salem Metro area, I learned via... more

First, this hotel is hard to find. There is some construction on the main street, and maybe that's the problem, but it is NOT on NE Hawthorne; it is on a little offshoot with no signs out on the main street. Unless you're staring right down the little offshoot, you will miss it. The location is also in the middle... more

I will admitt that it is a little hard to find at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Love the countertops in both the kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen area had all that you needed and more. Breakfast was huge, almost too much to choose from. Even though this property is close to the... more

Likely just stayed at the RI Salem for the last time, as my brother graduated Sunday from Willamette University. We have stayed at this property for the better part of four years on visits. Right off the freeway (I-5) on the south end of Salem and a five-minute drive to downtown (if you're headed there). Nothing near the hotel but... more

Have stayed 4 times over the past 2 years. I have had trouble getting the room I reserved the last few times. At a decent rate, you get what you pay for in comparison to other hotels. The breakfast has more options than most. The beds are more comfortable than the least expensive hotels but just adequate. The rooms have... more

We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bath suite. Add the pull-out sofa in the living area, and you had three completely separated sleeping spaces - each with their own tv. The staff was wonderful. It was quiet and there was a nice, clean breakfast room with scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and various other items. The rooms were spotless. This was... more

Our girls soccer team stayed at the Residence Inn for the weekend. I worked with Steve for about a month before we came, getting our rooms organized etc. and he was so friendly and hospitable... There was a huge BQ that everyone could use and a gathering area with tables and chairs, and they also provided utensils for us to... more

This Residence Inn is located off the I5 highway in a suburban business office/industrial area. A Denny's and Costco is located within a 5 min walk. Woodburn Factory Outlet is 17 mi away or 15 mins on the I5. Our family of 3 stayed here from July 15 to 17 in room 228 which was a 1 Brm suite. Plenty... more

Marriott Residence Inn-Salem, Oregon Check in was quick and efficient. When we arrived at our room, we found we had a free upgrade from a suite to a 2 bed 2 bath unit. Since we were traveling with a grandchild, this made us very comfortable. Everything appeared new and clean. There was plenty of coffee, popcorn, towels, extra blankets, pillows... more
