What a wonderful place. Betty is a great host and serves a generous and delicious breakfast. The house is a fully restored Arts and Crafts bungalow with two comfortable and well-appointed guest rooms. It's right across from the Oregon State Archives, so convenient for meetings. I slept restfully, ate well, and enjoyed visiting with Betty!

We were planning to go to a concert in Salem for a concert in the park and decided to stay the night. We found Betty"s on TripAdvisor and liked the reviews. Her prices are great when you compare to a local hotel and you get a home cooked meal. Betty is charming and a great cook. Her home is lovely... More

Betty's home is perfectly restored and just beautiful. Our room was immaculate and so very comfortable. Betty was able to prepare our special requested vegan breakfasts that were delicious and more than we could eat. This B & B is also well located and easy to find.

Betty lives in a beautiful old craftsman style home in a quiet neighborhood , a short walk from downtown Salem. She serves a generously portioned and exquisitely prepared breakfast. Please note that you will be parking on the street in front of her home. This is no issue, I can't imagine that there could be a safety problem. But if... More

Bring an appetite when you stay here - you won't want lunch after eating a delicious, home-made breakfast at Betty's B&B. I had the great good fortune to experience three days of breakfasts at Betty's, and skipped lunch all three. Her 1921 German craftsman home is perfectly restored - I'd never seen this type of archtecture before - gorgeous wood... More

Pressed linens on the bed, a hand made quilt to keep me warm, hand knitted bath mat to welcome me from the claw footed tub! So many meticulous details that made for a restful stay. The aromas waifting upstairs in the moorning were nothing compared to the marvelous breakfast- fluffy quiche, thick bacon, pressed apple cider and a homemade apple... More

My wife and I stayed one night while traveling between California and Washington. Betty was warm and welcoming. The house is a lovely craftsman-style home in a central residential neighborhood. We were able to walk to the historic downtown which was filled with shops, restaurants and government buildings. There is a beautiful garden which provided fresh flowers in every room... More

Step back in time for a fabulous experience. Betty's exquisitely restored Craftsman bungalow demonstrates her appreciation of the old with a flair for the finest in furnishings, food, and friendliness. Our room on the first floor offered great comfort. Breakfast was simply tops with terrific homemade biscuits and jam, plus scrambled eggs, bacon and fresh berries with greek yogurt and... More

Betty’s Bed is a joy. Her 1920’s Craftsman home exudes warmth and comfort with lovely Stickley furniture and beautiful quilts. I came back after a long day visiting Willammette University with my daughter to a warm fire and a cup of chamomile tea. I had to be back at the school early the next morning and she prepared the most... More

I was in Salem on business and wanted to stay at a B&B downtown. Found Betty's B&B after a short Google search. I stayed in the bedroom on the ground floor and had full access to the cozy living room with gas fireplace. Betty treated me like a member of her family. She is a superb cook/baker and the breakfasts... More
