Staying at the CH Bailey House during our house hunting trip took the stress out of it and gave us a peaceful, relaxing place to come "home" to. The surroundings were breathtaking, the home beautiful, no detail was left out! I can't think of one thing to improve this place! Jay and Sherry were extremely welcoming and hospitable, making us... After visiting the Willamette Valley, the coast, and Bandon Dunes, we headed to the Umpqua Valley not knowing what to expect following quite a ride off the beaten path. Sherri's beautiful home, filled with lovely, mismatched antiques awaited us, no detail left unattended. Our friends had to leave early, giving us access to "The Bailey," the largest and loveliest of... More

After getting lost finding our way there despite having directions when we arrived it was like stumbling upon a little piece of heaven. Very hot summers day outside, very cool inside. Delightful realisation that we could order dinner in and stay put - ate our pizza in the garden with company (Guiness the venerable black Lab ) & wine provided... More

Thank you! I read your review aloud to my friend, Brie, who helps at the B&B. After I finished the last line, we both exclaimed, "Ahhhh.." at the same time and smiled with delight and warmth. Thank you for making our day! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. So sorry about the sprinkler scare. It is good that... More

We stayed one night on our way from Bend to Portland (via the cost road) on the final leg of our vacation to Oregon. The hosts were just great, so accommodating and the breakfast was five star. A comfortable bed and a cosy room along with outdoor space and wonderful front porch make this Inn the place to stay in... More

We were traveling with family and had the opportunity to stay here for one night. From the time we arrived through our departure we could not have felt more welcome. There was a bocci ball game going on in the back yard when we arrived as well as cold beer on tap. Upon check-in we were shown the amenities of... More

This is one of the most beautiful homes you could ever visit. The grounds are amazing to walk and every room has charm and beauty. I had the privilege to stay on Friday night 6/20/14 for a pre wedding girls night. We each had a room to share with another girl and I had the best nights sleep in years.... More

Stayed for two nights in March while wine tasting in the Umpqua Valley. We were greeted with local red and chilled white wine, local craft beer on tap, and ice cream bars in the fridge near the rooms. The rooms and the common areas felt exceptionally welcoming and comfortable, and the views of the surrounding rolling hills were just lovely.... More

A beautiful B & B in the country a few miles from Roseburg. Lovely setting with a variety of places to sit and enjoy watching the world go by, with a nice glass of wine or home brew from the barn. The breakfast deserves a special mention. Sherry serves a home-cooked breakfast it would be difficult to better. Highly recommended.

It's been a while... but this place deserves a nice review and I just hadn't had the time to write one. On a 10 day West Coast road trip, we stayed at the C. H. Bailey House for one night on our way to Crater lake. The only bad thing was that we couldn't stay longer. It was an unforgettable... More
