My husband and I stayed at the Windmill Inn when we were driving south. After an entire day on the Interstate, it was a relief to stop at this charming and very hospitable hotel. We were greeted by a pleasant young woman and made to feel welcome. The very large room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the bath... more

The room was advertised as "spacious" and thats about it. Its dated, the decore is sparce, the beds are older and dont let then put you close to the freeway because the insulation isnt enough to eliminate the noise. The employees without exception were great all being friendly and asking what they could do for you during your stay. Roseburg... more

The Windmill Inn of Roseburg is not a destination, but it is a good place to stay on the road. The hotel has some age on it, but it is neat and clean. The front desk clerk made sure to offer us the current special rate which was lower than the senior/AAA rate that we requested. Our room had a... more

Located near freeway - didn't notice freeway noise. Nearby stores and restaurants. Room was nice and clean. We would stay here again if in the area. more

The Windmill Inn in Roseburg is a good for a quick overnight stop. It is just off I-5, has large, clean rooms, a friendly staff and a good breakfast. Dogs stay free and prices are reasonable. Mattresses are soft (not in a good way) and our room had a single high window overlooking a back parking lot. The bathroom is... more

We visit Roseburg twice a year but for some reason had never stayed here until our last trip. The staff was very nice, the outdoor pool and BBQ area was clean, well maintained and cheery. Breakfast - especially the staff - was a joy. They had an excellent lady working in the breakfast room bustling around and helping everyone get... more

We do this roadtrip regularly just because I love roadtrips with my kids, and have just found our new favorite rest stop enroute. What a great little hotel, terrific pool for the kids, and a hot breakfast in a well-serviced breakfast room with friendly staffing! Icing on the cake is that they take dogs ... we'll have to remember that... more

I can't say enough about this place-the staff was super friendly, the room was immaculate and had everything we needed. Tip: You can buy tickets for the nearby safari at substantially discounted rates at the hotel. more

We were traveling from Northern California to Portland with our 3 year old grandson and wanted to take him to Widlife Safari in Winston the following day. We did not want a "pet friendly" room and were told by the hotel that the upstairs units are not used for travelers with pets. This is a moderate motel but everything was... more

Stayed one night. The motel was very clean and well maintained and the beds were comfortable. The pool and spa were also well maintaned and the fact that the pool was in a courtyard and not out by the parking lot was an extra plus. more
