The most disgusting place I have ever visited. The rudest people I have ever met. It appears the chamber of commerce cant vet these people when they open a business. There was certainly nothing professional about this operation and I really have a hard time fathering how they can even stay in business,

POSITIVE. easy access to Interstate 5. Room clean Inexpensive Internet access Good shower NEGATIVE carport under rooms therefore no ground floor rooms available. Stairs to upper two floors. We were on the top floor 30 stairs. Plan an overnight bag rather than suitcase to drag up these stairs. Stairway smelt dirty and smokey. Refrigerator noisy. Nearby Denny's reaked of fat... More

I thought this place would be ok. It looked old and dated but as long as it was clean, Well the hallway smelled like stale smoke and trim was falling off the walls in the hallway. I was in town for a family wedding so I had booked the room for 3 nights. The first night was ok however; the... More

We were driving south in July on a Saturday evening and started looking in Eugene but didn't find a single room to be had until we hit Roseburg at 11:30 and that's why we wound up here. We were grateful to be there but this place is pretty dumpy. The lobby is a kick and the owner is a character.... More

This motel is a complete scam. I booked through a booking agency, it was advertised as "pay when you stay" "No cancellation fees". Well I had to cancel, I informed the owner who said it was ok. I updated my card information to a secured credit card incase he tried to charge me anyway. Well low and behold he did... More

The Dunes Motel in Roseburg, OR is nothing but a skanky, dirty, disgusting, rip off!! Not only are their rooms disgusting, their staff is RUDE!! And they charge the high school kids $30 a month to park in their parking lot that is always empty anyway!! What a rip off!!!

The Dunes should get minus 2 stars. Room stank of urine and mold, hallway of old stale smoke. Most of the TV stations did not have sound. The heater/air conditioner was really loud. In the light in the morning we discovered that the pillow cases had obviously not been washed. It wasn't cheap. The only good thing was that it... More

My red flag should have gone up when I asked the proprietor to view the room and he said "trust me.it's fine"!! Understandably it's an older establishment, and our hopes were that the room would be larger than normal modern motel rooms. Unfortunately the room smelled of urine the sheets were not very clean and we were anxious to leave.... More

Sometimes you're travel weary and just looking for something decent and cheap. We were at that point, at the tail-end of a long vacation. The Dunes Motel exceeded our hope for "decent", and the owner is possibly the friendliest guy in America. Look past the 80's-style furnishings in the lobby... the animal pelts & antlers on the walls and the... More

We were running very late and were not going to make it to our original destination in Medford, so I called the Dunes at 10:30pm and asked for same-night accommodations. Several other places had said, "Sorry- we're full" (no, they weren't) but the owner of The Dunes said, "Come on!" even though I told him it would be about 1:30am... More
