Renovations will not make up for poor customer relations. Requested a downstairs room---told first floor closed because of remodeling, Assigned a room at the far end of the second floor and elevator was out of order. After climbing the stairs found our my room was at the other end of the hall. Went back down the stairs and asked if... More

This was a nice room with nice renovations. The only drawback was that instead of two queen beds we had two double beds and the room was small but it was nice clean and good for an overnight stay. The shower was really nice. Also the room was quiet. We went next door to Applebees for dinner and got ten... More

At check in we had to request a different room because of the smoke smell. We were told that they were remodeling and some of the rooms had been smoking in the past. Request a even number room that will get you one the side opposite the freeway noise. You will still face a very busy street but may reduce... More

We stayed one night and this property is looking very nice. In the middle of renovations, but nearly done. We stayed on a floor that had completed renovations and loved our room. Very nicely decorated and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was ample and we had a nice selection. The front lobby area had completed renovations... More

I left Crater Lake National Park from the wrong exit which took me on a slow winding journey through the heartland of nowhere Oregon in the middle of the night. After a few hours of driving, I was able to find civilization (aka Interstate 5) and headed north. While stopping for a very late dinner at Denny's I was in... More

The sign on the highway said "EconoLodge soon to be a Sleep INN", the key card said EconoLodge, but everything else was Sleep Inn--so we asked the front desk clerk "which is it"? He replied that their goal had been to return to a Sleep Inn and that they had made it. Whatever it is, it's pretty nice now. Everything... More

When we stayed here, it was a Sleep Inn that was under renovation to become an Econolodge. The accommodations were Spartan, clean, and quiet. We were somewhat concerned about the noise level as it is located so close to the Interstate, that was not a problem. Good free wireless internet. The pool and hot tub were nice. The free hot... Like usual, we travel without reservations - sometimes to our detriment, but once again to our pleasant surprise, we got another really great room at reasonable rates (compared to coastal hotels... which is why we ended up in Roseburg - Coos Bay rates were high with questionable looking premises). Front desk was quick and efficient, getting us a non-smoking room... More

We needed a place later in the evening to stay and every hotel was practically booked because of Graffiti week. Wanted a pool and breakfast and EconoLodge had both. There is remodeling going on right now but it was not bothersome in anyway. We payed $90 for a two double bed room and were pleasantly surprised at the modern furnishings.... More
