My husband and I stayed here and were treated so badly. We scrimp and save to occasionally take a fun trip to the beach so we were very disappointed. Find another hotel with a staff who smiles when they greet their guests because Rockaway is a great little town. more

Rockaway Beach is like taking a step back into the 1950's. It is a quiet little town full of friendly residents, interesting shops and great little restaurants. The sunsets were so colorful and inspiring. We just couldn't get enough of the beach with all its sights and sounds. View, View & More View! We stayed at the "Rockaway Beach Resort" for 7 nights in the latter half of February 2005 with NO complaints. We come here regularly and always have a good experience. Of course, Rockaway has the best "beach" in Oregon and the resort is right on the sand with easy access. All rooms have a deck with chairs.
