What a great motel - conveniently located between Canon Beach and Tillamook. Not necessarily a destination beach, but that's a good thing. The beach was not crowded and we lucked out with beautiful sunny weather. The beach was just a short walk from the hotel, or easily accessed by car, with a parking area. There was a grassy area at... I've stayed here for my birthday 2 years in a row now. I love how close it is to the beach, the factor it has everything one would need for a meal if you decide to cook. Long stays it has a washer and dryer so you always have clean close. I was impressed both times I stayed and hope... More

It was like renting a small studio. full kitchen and bath, snacks, all cooking utinsils you would ever need. Quiet, Netflix at the ready. Bed is comfy. Ceiling fan was nice during sleep. Small bath but doable.

Sea Haven was a spontaneous overnight for me. I didn't want to search extensively on a jaunt to the coast. It was clean and convenient. My room had everything you might need to prepare a great meal + a washer and dryer. Grill outside. Not terribly picturesque or charming. Practical. 1 block to the beach. Shannon was lovely.

I got a deal through living social and booked a stay for two nights. I have not finished my stay yet but the room is very comfortable for my family of 4. The rooms dont have AC but have heaters. the humidity is high and AC would have been nice but for the price and comparable facilities in surroundings, this... More

Great place. Felt very homey, and comfortable. I'll go back, and recommend to all I know planning to go in that area. Great service, and always on top of things. Shannon answers any questions asked to the best of her ability, and on her down time showed us around!

I was floored by the quality of there rooms and the pleasant attitude of the motel host and hostess. Will definitely be staying again and again. The rooms were clean and felt like home away from home. The ease of access to the beach made it even more comfortable

Excellent! Was passing through on my way down the cost on 101. You almost drive through Rockaway Beach without notice, but it is a quiet and lovely town. Stayed at the Sea Haven for two nights and wow, I didn't even feel like I was in a motel. I felt more like I was at home. Friendly staff, comfy rooms,... More

The price is reasonable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Unit 6 which has a full kitchen including even a dishwasher and comes with some supplies such as coffee, crackers, and microwave popcorn. The bedroom is small -- the queen bed pretty much fills up the room, although it does have a second TV set. The... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We invite you to come enjoy our clean, non-smoking, pet friendly units. Each has a full kitchen, flooring that is easy care (ceramic tile and laminate style) updated decor, flat screen TVs and newer appliances. We are located one short block from beach access, at the north end of Rockaway Beach. Outside, there are gas BBQs and a crab cooker available to help you enjoy the bounty from the sea. This area offers seven miles of sandy beach, stretching between Nehalem Bay and Tillamook Bay and Sea Haven is right in the middle - halfway between both bays. There is so much to enjoy - beachcombing, hiking, crabbing, clamming, fishing, shopping, and of course, eating! Next door to our motel we have "Sea Haven's Guest House", a six bedroom home that can be reserved by small groups for reunions, sport or cycling groups, business retreats, etc. Whole house rental starts at $175 (mid week, winter), with a varying price structure for lenght of stay and season changes. Rates and availability are listed on our web site. When not rented by a group, we rent the Guest House out by private bedrooms, with guests sharing the common space. This is a more European style of lodging, similar to a Bed & Breakfast. Travelers share the living room, bathrooms and kitchen, and have a private bedroom. Each bedroom has it's own TV with DVD player. The majority of bedrooms also have a queen bed, small desk and closet. Bedroom #5 has a gueen with a twin bunk over and Bedroom #6 is great for a small group - with two sets of twin bunk beds and a full size bed. ... more   less
