Cabin 18 was a great place to stay. Lots of privacy and fun for the kids and the dog. Beckie's had excellent food and the service was great. The location was not to far from the lake. Would stay here again if visiting Crater Lake.

We had a great stay at Union Creek lodge. Very homey feel and very friendly staff. Be prepared for a long drive and fill up whenever you see gas ;) and have your quarters ready for the payphone. This was definitely a retreat away from it all. Not too far from Crater lake and Diamond lake and the Roque river across... More

We stayed right next to the bathroom in Lodge room 3. Unfortunately, it was right next to the bathroom so we got to hear everyone slam the door at all hours of the night. This problem could most likely be solved by adding some sort of felt, or weather stripping to soften the wood on wood slamming. Also, make the... More

The setting was really great, the lodge people and restaurant people were very nice. I felt the rooms were a little miss represented on web site, very small rooms, the house keeping was not good. we stayed two nights and they didn't even bring clean towels or clean the coffee cups. The microwave didn't work, somebody took batteries out of... More

I was reluctant to stay in this place because all of some bad reviews I saw on this site. I booked a two queen beds room in the lodge, with shared bathrooms. The room was of a reasonable size, was right beside the creek, and had everything it said on the site. Sharing the restroom, which was clean and not... More

Really lucked out with this resort. It is in the middle of nowhere and the log cabins have everything you need in them, they are very cute! We just totally loved this part of our holiday (West Coast road trip). The bed was amazing and we were impressed with the facilities (in the cabin and in the shop etc), and... More

This resort is a true get away from it all place. The cabins are very quaint and rustic, we thoroughly enjoyed it. No Tv/phone in rooms cell service is poor, so leave the stuff in the car and get out and enjoy nature... there are is a lovely creek that flows down beside the resort allowing some water play and... We would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE! It was filthy to say the least. We had reserved a small cabin but they were doing maintenance on it, so they "upgraded" us at no cost to us to a 3 bedroom cabin. Oh my gosh, it smelled like they had a bon fire in the house. Carpets so filthy we... More

Wifi connection was spotty at best. Don't plan to be available via phone or computer while on this vacation. I was lucky to get a few emails or text messages. Overall it was fun. No connection made the family focus on having good old fashioned fun. Hiking, exploring, camp fire with hot dog and s'mores were a few of our... More

We were there end of last July, group of 6 adults. We were at cabin 20 for the first 2 nights, and we found it too cramped and we did not like it much, especially the bathroom. Then we moved to the vacation rental, and that place was huge and awesome. The place itself is nice. We enjoyed sitting by... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It’s a resort that hearkens back to a simpler era. We call it rustic comfort; similar to what you would find in the 1920s when it was first built, but now with modern conveniences and charm. You won’t find golf courses, spa services, or salons. But you will find a well-appointed, authentic lodge set amongst towering Douglas Firs in the Rogue River National Forest. It’s an ideal location to experience Oregon’s great outdoors in a simple, yet comfortably updated resort. All around is the smell of pine needles and the sounds of birds and rushing creek waters. The stunning natural setting includes distinctive Union Creek and the Wild & Scenic Rogue River, hiking trails amongst spectacular 700-year-old Douglas Firs in old growth forests, and nearby Crater Lake National Park – truly a must-see destination. ... more   less
