We had an absolute great experience. Stayed in one of the King Size Lodge Rooms and were able to have a quick drive up to Crater Lake. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was also in a beautiful setting and we didn't need a 4WD car at all.

Taylor, An "absolute great experience" are our 3 favorite words (except maybe "Beckie's homemade pies")! Thanks for the review and we're so happy you had a nice time and were able to visit Crater Lake. - Kent and Sandy Watson, Union Creek Resort owners More

The staff was warm and welcoming, and the cabin was clean and homey! Union Creek Resort was the perfect jumping off point for day hikes and visiting Crater Lake. Everyone at the resort and Beckie's Cafe made my stay just what I was looking for!

I was long overdue for a extended weekend getaway. I was looking for something close to Crater Lake, with minimal people. The cabin we stayed in #6 was remodeled, suited 2 people perfectly and was as cozy as can be, with a full kitchen. Initially when we arrived we noticed no cell service, and limited wifi. By the end of... More

We spent two nights in cabin 1. It is nothing fancy and it is rustic. Our cabin was clean and had the basics. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cabin 1 did have a kitchen...food options near by are limited. But the store on site did have a few basic items if you forgot something. Location is great we visited crater... More

We decided to spend Valentines Day at Crater Lake. It took us maybe 30 minutes or so to get to Crater from here. We checked in late on a Friday, like 7:55 (and they close at 8). The lady checked us in and we asked about the resturant across the street. She told us to hurry because they closed at... More

Hi Hiker114 (we love your user name!), Thanks for staying with us during Valentine's Day and for the great review. It sounds like you had a really nice time and were able to enjoy the peace and quiet (w/limited cell phone service - isn't that nice every once in a while?). We look forward to seeing you again and suggest... More

I reserved a room and several weeks before the date of the reservation I cancelled my reservation. They charged my credit card for the entire amount of the reservation. I learned they had rented my room and were completely full during the days I had reserved. I called the hotel checking for availability and they told me they were completely... More

We are sorry for the misunderstanding but we are a small, remote destination lodging and maintaining a booked resort is vital to keep us going. Our cancellation policy states that from May through September, we need a 30-day advance cancellation (14 days in advance Oct-April). We don’t hide this and try to make that as clear as possible on the... More

Stayed at the Union Creek Resort in what they call their "coziest" cabin for 2 nights. It was small, but had everything we needed and plenty of room for 2 adults and a dog! Cabin included a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, toiletries and towels. The water pressure was fairly weak in the shower and the wi-fi was... More

We're thrilled you had a great time and were able to bring your dog! Yes, WiFi is definitely hit and miss but it's as good as we can get it, and being disconnected in a beautiful setting, hiking trails, Crater Lake, etc., can have its advantages as you discovered. Thank you for your stay and for taking the time to... More

We thought the little cabin would be fun for Valentines Day. It was not: it smelled like hamster bedding and was freezing. It didn't help that the front door didn't stay closed. The bathroom fan was filthy. There is that awful plastic stuff on the lumpy mattress. We were right on the highway-traffic all night. The office doesn't open until... More

I stayed in the Union Creek cabins as a young kid in the early '90s with my family, and have been returning periodically ever since. My girlfriend and I stayed there last weekend, and I'm happy to say that the resort is as charming and cozy as it was 20 years ago. Our cabin had everything we needed- comfortable bed,... More

When we decided we were going to visit Crater Lake, the lodge inside the park had no rooms available. There are no facilities that are closer than Union Creek. We knew it would be a little drive to the lake, and the facilities are very rustic. We did have a cabin that had been remodeled, and it was very nice... More

We really appreciate your review and are happy you enjoyed your cabin and your stay here at Union Creek Resort.
