We spent two nights in the motel here (no dogs allowed in the bed-and-breakfast) when our usual lodging place couldn't accommodate us. Having seen this hotel/motel many times before (in both its dilapidated state, and restored) we were happy to give it a try. The grounds are quite nice--a large lawn where our dog was allowed to roam. The porch... More

The obvious is the location to Crater Lake, Prospect, OR area has exactly that. Klamath Falls or Medford are far to inconvenient given the amount of driving on curvy roads just to get to area. With that said, this hotel/B&B is charming and well maintained. If you have dogs that need attention you can make arrangements for a dog sitter... More

We were disappointed with this hotel. Had very bad beds and was not comfortable at all. You could hear the people next door to you at night because the walls were so thin. Dinner was very expensive and was not good. It was clean but overall horrible. I wont be staying at anything that says "historic" inn or hotel

We are sorry that Brian didn't enjoy his stay with us. We strive to create an environment that everyone can enjoy. As Brain stated this is not his kind of place. The Nationally Registered Historic atmosphere is not for everyone. He probably will be happier in the future staying in more modern motels. While it is hard to believe that... More

We really enjoyed everything here! Came in too late, and still they gave us a descent dinner. Rooms are clean, roomy, cosy, enjoyable, ... perfect for a night. Breakfast had small portions, but really was lovely. Dinner really fabulous! All was clear on the website and we really had a wonderfull time.

We stayed two nights at the Prospect Hotel while visiting Crater Lake. The hotel is over 100 years old and many famous people, including two presidents stayed there. We were in the Pierson room, a lovely room which looked out on the garden and some beautiful trees. The breakfasts were fantastic! We had dinner one night in the restaurant, which... More

We stayed in the B&B for one night a few days ago and felt fortunate to have gotten a room as it was booking up even while I was navigating their website. We're not campers and we wanted something more comfortable than some of the rustic cabin hotels that are prevalent in this area, and the Lodge at Crater Lake... More

Stayed two nights in the Zane Grey room for a visit to Crater Lake. First, the negatives: the rooms are small, the beds aren't all that comfortable and since it is basically an old house, the rooms are noisy. Ours was above the registration room so it was relatively quiet, but any noise in the main hallway was loud. It... More

We are traveling through the Pacific Northwest over 2 weeks, staying each night in a different hotel. The Prospect Hotel was one of our very favorite stays! We stayed in the B&B (they also have motel rooms) in the Pearson room. The room was not large, but lovely and had everything we needed. Freshly baked cookies awaited our arrival! We... More

I thought that this hotel was very good, wether it was the antique beds or the ever helpful staff! Defiantly recommend if you're planning to go to crater lake! The rooms were very comfortable, although, my mother said she could feel the springs but other than that no complaints at all!

We spent two nights at the B&B in the Boothby room. As other reviewers have mentioned, this room is quiet (away from the street noise). The room was nicely decorated and clean. The staff were wonderful and very helpful in providing directions and knowledge about the surrounding area. We had dinner in the dining room the first evening (both my... More
