The service we received felt like minimal effort was being given, almost a tick box exercise. The room was functional but a little shabby in its appearance. The location was good and we received very good service, and food in the grill bar downstairs. The shower was the best thing about the stay, and the least exciting was the adjoining... more

Westin trumpets its heavenly beds and showers, and they live up to the expectations. The beds are among the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. The Westin Portland also has a beautiful bathroom with stone flooring and a "rainfall" showerhead. The room was quiet and soothing. There was no sitting chair, just the chair that goes with the desk,... more

For a vacation stay in Portland, we would highly recommend the Westin in Downtown Portland OR. The hotel was conveniently located near the Pioneer Square which was a central location for the public transportation (wonderfully done in Portland, this city has public transportation done right). We had a Corner King Room and the views were nice of downtown. The room... more

I found a package called "Happy 150th Birthday Oregon" on the CVC site for appropriately $150 per night. In addition to the room it included parking (usually $29) and a daily $25 voucher to use in their affiliated restaurant. The manager was quick to communicate with me when I had questions prior to our stay, and also followed up with... more

My wife and I celebrated her birthday and our anniversary with a trip to the Pacific Northwest and used SPG points to stay at the Westins in both Portland and Seattle. Of the two, the Portland location was our clear favorite. It has the feel of a much smaller (almost boutique) hotel, whereas the Seattle location, while also nice, is... more

Got this hotel on Priceline for $75, stayed 4 nights over Memorial day weekend. The room was small but the bathroom was very spacious. They serve coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning, There is a small coffee shop on the corner with free wifi. We parked in a Smartpark or on the street. The hotel is well... more

I wish I were a more gifted writer and could be able to more fully describe our wonderful stay at the Westin from May 8-10, 2009. It was our first anniversary, and my husband's birthday, and our first trip to Portland. We were so excited and we arrived early. Our room wasn't ready that early, but they asked for a... more

The Westin delivered an enjoyable stay in the heart of downtown Portland, proving to be walking distance to many local highlights. The hotel staff was very friendly in providing direction and recommendations. The room itself hit on my major two musts - comfortable bed and nice shower. We're typically used to Motel 6'ing it, but both really impressed our low... more

Thank you very much for your review and simply taking the time to provide the feedback. I am thrilled you enjoyed the Heavenly Bed and Shower - these features have been Westin's trademark for many years. Lastly, I'm sorry that you felt the parking, business center and in room Internet charges were steep. In recognition of this, we have created...

This was our first stay in a hotel with our 8 month old twins and it worked out well. The staff was very helpful from the time we arrived with all our gear at 11 pm to checkout two days later. From the two carts full of stuff (including babies in car seats!) to placing two cribs in our room,... more

Thank you very much for the review and most importantly, choosing to stay with us. We are thrilled to have been the first hotel you and your twins have stayed at. I am an uncle to twin girls that are two years old, so I can somewhat empathize with the amount of planning, supplies and energy it takes to do...
