Because of a large conference, nearly every reasonable priced accommodation in the entire Portland area was booked. I managed to get the last room for two nights here. The proximity to the airport is good, and the 24-hr free courtesy shuttle is great. The staff I interacted with were helpful and friendly. On my devices, the free WiFi reception and... More

Booked through Hotwire. The checkin was great. Guys were knowledgeable about local attractions and even off the beaten track places. Check out was less than 60 seconds so that was cool. The room was a big worn. Chipped paint. Old carpet. It did not smell fresh. Maybe previous occupant was a smoker? Overall, I've had better for budget but it... More

Had to stay here two nights our usual hotel was booked up due to a conference. Lots of transient people around. Nothing really special around the hotel to eat at. Was very outdated and not clean at all. We actually had to move because the first room had used soap in the shower and the one bed looked like it... More

I stayed at this motel for a total of 5 days and saw 3 different rooms. Overall, the room quality and setup are very variable but definitely worth the money! The only difference between the Rodeway Inn and the Quality Inn (both owned by Choice Hotels and right next to each other) is that the Quality Inn is equipped with... More

Checked in in the evening of May 26, 2015 after traveling all day from Wash DC to Portland, OR expecting a non-smoking room.. 1. Bad Room, The older man at the desk gave me a smoking room or one that had been seriously smoked in. Rather than just assigning me another room, his words were, "We don't have smoking rooms."... For the price I paid which was very low, I thought the Rodeway Inn was quite decent. They didn't pretend to be a 4 star hotel and yes, the facility is pretty shabby-looking and the customer service is non-existent. However, the bed and pillows are very soft and comfortable. I had a flat screen TV that worked well. The bathroom... More

This is a joint Choice Hotels property--a Quality Inn and a Rodeway Inn near the Portland airport. A few more amenities at the Quality side, but if you are there for an overnight to catch an early flight from PDX you won't want breakfast anyway and there is coffee in the lobby. The Rodeway rooms are just as nice as... More

Nice place to stop for a night. Booked for 59.00 a night, clean and the beds was comfortable. Requested a wake up call to insure I get up for my flight. Good thing I set my phone alarm, no wake up call was made to our room. But overall ok. The free breakfast I thought should start earlier since it... More

I booked a room at rodeway inn so that my friend and I wouldn't have to drive all the way back to Seattle after seeing a concert in Portland that ended at midnight. However, the man working at the front desk was absolutely terrible. He was so rude and refused to let us stay there because my drivers license was... More

Wouldn't stay here again. They advertised a double room for $65...was charged $115. The front desk clerk checked us in while chewing a mouth full of food. Paint was peeling off bathroom wall. Beds were small, but comfy...only good thing I can say.
